The episode opens with Abby (Melissa Rauch) presiding over a Comic Con case. Once she sentences the defendant, she is reunited with her best friend Heather (Jessica St. Clair). Dan (John Larroquette) calls her annoyingly outgoing, while Olivia acts snarky and Gurgs (Lacretta) realizes she is ‘Baby Heather’ who fell in the gorilla pit.

After Heather leaves, Olivia (India de Beaufort) accuses Abby of hating her. Abby denies this, but Dan and Gurgs agree that she really does hate her based on how she tries to defend herself.

In the cafeteria, Dan is approached by Wyatt (Nyambi Nyambi), who is dressed up for Comic Con. Dan makes fun of him, but Wyatt says he is there to have fun and impress the ladies. Gurgs joins them to chat when Dan spots Julianne, the lady he dated last year. Gurgs makes fun of his as Julianne approaches him to chat.

Julianne tells Dan that he has nothing to worry about despite her behavior in the past (landing her in prison) while Gurgs tries to protect him. Julianne tries to convince him that they can have fun together while laughing manically. She then tells Wyatt she is going to ruin Dan’s life.

Heather and Abby take selfies while making plans to go clubbing. Olivia questions this as they bring up memories  and make more plans for that night, including going on a midnight helicopter tour with no lights.

After Heather goes to make the plans, Olivia tries to once again question Abby as to why she is friends with Heather. Abby tries to convince her that Heather pushes her out of her comfort zone, but Olivia isn’t buying it.

Later on, Abby admits to Olivia that she actually does hate Heather and should have ended the friendship a long time ago. As they try to figure out how to end things, Heather comes up and tells stories about Abby at camp and earning the nickname Scabs. She also tells Abby that she is moving in with her and breaking up with her boyfriend….as Abby internally freaks out and Olivia smirks about the turn of events.

That night, Abby presides over more Comic Con cases while Wyatt tries to convince Gurgs to babysit his kids while he is at Comic Con. Dan continues to freak out over Julianne, who is in court dressed as Catwoman and hitting on someone else sitting in front of her. Gurgs and Wyatt put him in a Comic Con disguise in order to protect him.

Heather continues to annoy Abby with her move in plans when Olivia tries to get Abby out of it and her plans to go out by saying they have to work. Heather seems to buy it, but doesn’t take the hint that she isn’t wanted.

Dan talks to Gurgs about meeting up with Julianne while in costume and how she isn’t as crazy as he thought. Wyatt, for his part, is upset about his Comic Con plans ruined and how he now only has a Paw Patrol costume.

Heather ends up getting arrested and thinks that she is going to get off the hook since Abby is the judge. She was involved in illegal gambling and inciting a riot that caused a bus fire, all in an hour’s time.

Dan tries to say it is because Abby abandoned her and acted with the best of intentions. Heather continues to try to say she did nothing wrong, causing them to fight. Dan tries to make peace with them but no avail.

Abby visits Heather in the holding cell, where Abby decides to no longer be involved in her life.

Wyatt and Gurgs meet all dressed up for Comic Con, her as a babysitter for his kids and him finding The One to have sex with. Julianne and Dan (still in costume) bond and she finally discovers his true identity. She kisses him and they admit to feelings for one another and to see each other again….once she is out of prison. Wyatt and Gurgs tell him that is the power of Comic Con….as he screams “KHAAAAANNNNN” and the episode comes to an end.
