Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Catchy pop melodies fused with alternative waves!

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I grew up listening to a lot of Norah Jones, Coldplay and Fleetwood Mac! I think it’s fair to say I have tons of diverse influences! I’m also influenced by my environment and my other personal experiences.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Think of Me.”

A) Tyler Shaw and I started this song when we had our first session a little over a year ago. Then, I brought the song to AJ Healey when we were writing this past November and the full song came to fruition! It was really fun to collaborate with both him and Tyler on this track. We all come from different musical backgrounds, so it adds a great energy. This song is about breaking up with someone and feeling the aftermath wondering “do they think of me?”

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) Emotions are universal. Being honest and open with personal experiences makes you human. I think people resonate with this song simply because of that.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) For me, my process is always so different. Generally, a melody will come to me first and I’ll voice memo it and circle back later. Oftentimes when I’m co-writing, the chords will come first. It’s always very spontaneous [smiles]

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I have lots of ideas production wise. I’m grateful to have producers in my life who are amazing at interpreting those ideas and bringing them to life!

Q) What did you personally take away from your time on “The Launch” that has carried with you as an artist?

A) Being on the show was a very surreal experience for me.  I had the opportunity of a lifetime to work with music industry moguls and because of that learned SO much in a matter of forty-eight hours. I’m forever grateful for my time on the show. I was reminded how important authenticity is and that at the end of the day you will make the best music when you are being true to who you are.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I would love to collab with Lauv. I love his vibe and his songwriting is really unique and fresh.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Currently listening to Dua Lipa’s new album. I love the 80’s inspo and vibe!

Q) What advice would you offer to up and coming musicians?

A) Put yourself out there. Play as many shows as you can; you never know who will be in the audience. Be authentically you and the rest will come.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media allows you to reach way further than you would be able to otherwise. It allows you to connect with people on an intimate level and share more personal updates about your life which keeps the relationship going.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you thank you thank you. Music is how I navigate and understand the world, I hope that the more music I share the more others can have a hand in navigating their own experiences as well!
