Post-Screening Party for STAN & OLLIE

Stars visited the AFI Special Screening After-Party for Sony Pictures Classics’ “STAN & OLLIE” Wednesday night at Liaison Restaurant + Lounge hosted by Guillotine Vodka. John C. Reilly (RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET), Shirley Henderson (24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE) Director Jon S. Baird, Writer Jeff Pope, Makeup Prosthetics Designer Mark Coulier, and composer Rolfe Kent. Other celebrity guests at the film, which explores the later career of iconic comedic duo Laurel & Hardy, included Billy Idol, model China Chow, and Patrick Duffy (Dallas).
 
Ahead of his worldwide debut in WRECK-IT RALPH sequel RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET, indie STAN AND OLLIE is the film generating the awards buzz for Reilly. And the film, a tender and affectionate look at the pair, is a breath of fresh air after a tough week in Southern California.

Laurel & Hardy fan club posse “The Sons of the Desert” helped crest the mood and took photos with talent.

Stan Laurel’s great granddaughter, Cassidy Cook represented for the family.
Billy Idol and his date China Chow offered the guests some public displays of affection.
Due to a late film start, Steven Coogan had to miss the event.
John C. Reilly in costume and in good spirits, chatted up the guests.

Sony Pictures Classics will release the film in New York and Los Angeles December 28, 2018.
