Q) How would you describe your sound – EDM? House?

A) My sound has typically fallen into the Deep House and Bass House genres, although I’m looking forward to releasing some other EDM subgenres in the future.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Deadmau5, David Guetta, Marshmello, Alok, Chris Lake, R3hab, Martin Garrix, Medusa… to name a few.

Q) I love your eyewear. How did they become a part of your signature look?

A) There’s a long story behind that… a trilogy actually. We are currently working on an illustrated manga/comic to tell RadWulf’s story of how he came to be and where he is headed!

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Breathe.”

A) “Breathe” was intended to be a bright and upbeat song that gets your body moving. I’m a sucker for good vocal melodies and dance music together. I have also been experimenting more with creative synth sounds aimed to support my festival DJ sets, so I knew the drop had to be unexpected and wild for the crowds.

Q) What kind of response have you been receiving from your fans to the track?

A) It’s performing really well on all of the platforms – People love singing along to it!

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) The music video for this track is still underway. Should be uploaded onto my YouTube in the next two weeks. Stay tuned!

Q) What is your song writing process? Do beats randomly find you throughout the day?

A) Sometimes in the day and sometimes at night in my dreams. Then, I have to wake up and rush to the computer to try and get my ideas out.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) As legend has it… RadWulf actually steals all the popular music from the future and releases it here as his own.

In all seriousness though, I’ve been a self-taught “bedroom” producer for about fifteen years now and my typical process is producing the song in its entirety and then sending it out for a mix/master to the professionals. That way I can continue to focus on the creative production and leave the polishing for the professionals.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) Definitely yes for both. There is a lot of RadWulf music floating in “the cloud” right now…Not sure how or when we are going to release it, but I’ll be sure to post about it when it happens.

Q) You’ve performed at festivals like Lights All Night and DEEP SPACE. Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) My favorite performances have been the international ones. Not only are they the most excited to dance with RadWulf, but they are also extremely nice (and pay the most).

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Anyone I listed above as my hero’s…That’s my ultimate goal. However, I am always open to collaborating with any artist that has a good value trade.

Q) What artist/musician are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Old Coldplay albums, it’s my comfort music that I can think the best to.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) We live in a digital era. All communications start and end on social media. It’s the best way to stay in touch with fans in a creative and personalized way.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you for giving me the courage to continue pushing. I’m my happiest self when I can just sit and be creative, so to everyone supporting that creativity… thank you!
