Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would describe our sound as a sub-genre of pub rock. It’s supposed to make you feel good when you sing along to our music.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Sticky fingers, David Bowie, ACDC, Parkway Drive, Pink Floyd

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Dry.”

A) Everyone has gone through some bad. It’s about falling out of love with someone when you’re still in a relationship with them. We wrote the song in the morning after a night on the piss. We were reminiscing about our past relationships and wanted to try and capture that in the song.

Q) An acoustic version of the song blew up on YouTube. What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) Not only do I think the fans connect to the lyrics but I think the fans can tune into the vibe of getting drunk with your mates and singing as loud as you can. Anyone can get around to letting it all out with your friends.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) Not so much into the message of the song, but it was a great way to tie together the journey the song has taken us on. A huge number of people made their own videos using dry as a backing track and we thought it would be a good way to show our gratitude.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) Our process in song writing varies a lot. We never go any further on song unless we have lyrics to it. All of our songs start off on an acoustic guitar. Recently we’ve been letting the reactions of fans on TikTok to decide whether or not we turn an acoustic song to full band song.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) We go back and forth with our producer a lot, but what we say goes.

Q) The band is a hit on TikTok. What do you think it is about you all that makes you so relatable?

A) I think it’s our authenticity that the fans love. We write and sing about real life situations that people can relate to.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming soon?

A) Yes, an Album/EP will be coming in early 2022

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) The Stingo was a great place to play. The energy in the crowd that night was otherworldly. I think we would be happy to perform anywhere as long as the punters are having a great time. Our last gig at The Leadbeater was one of the best shows we’ve ever played. I mean, we played terribly. But the fans loved every bit of it.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Not entirely sure yet. We would be keen on touring and meeting some people and just see who we jell with best.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Tool, because Tool.

Mac Miller – Faces, rip the g.o.a.t

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media is what has brought us to the spotlight. It’s where most of our fans have come from. We feel it’s important to engage with our fans wherever we can, especially at shows. But because of COVID the only way we could connect with our fans was through social media.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Love you motherfuckers!
