Q) What are the recent projects that you have been working on?

A) Sierra Burgess is a Loser, White Boy Rick, “Scream: Season 3, and musical projects

Q) Please tell us the premise for the movie Sierra Burgess is a Loser.

A) It’s a movie of finding self-worth and loving yourself in all the perfect imperfections that you have. It uses “cat fishing” as a highway to translate this message. Sierra (Shannon Purser) is found in a place where she feels she has to pretend to be someone that is the total opposite of her because she feels that is what “Jamie” likes, when all along her dream guy was looking for “HER” all along. So, all the things that she thought to be her imperfections, where the things that made her so PERFECT.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the film?

A) The fun script writing and also the character of Dan, our director Ian [Samuels] had a very beautiful feel for Dan and I felt that I was that character in a lot of ways so I had to be a part of this project.

Q) How familiar were you with the classic tale of Cyrano de Bergerac before joining the movie?

A) Not too familiar

Q) How was your character Dan originally described to you?

A) Dan originally was told to be Sierra’s best friend and only friend and she was the same for Dan. He is a sweet warm character with a cold sense of honesty. That everyone could love and want to know.

Q) Were you familiar with any of your co-stars before working with them on Sierra?

A) Yes

Q) What advice did director Ian Samuels offer you during filming that you took to heart?

A) To trust the feelings that Dan is feeling in the moment and go for it fully. To become comfortable in being vulnerable in this character even in the secure and grounded personality he has.

Q) What were some of your favorite moments from filming or behind the scenes?

A) The hang out times in between shooting because it was like being around a ton of your friends new and old. Also, everyone felt like family so no time was not party time…Well, unless crying was involved. [laughs]

Q) What do you hope viewers take away from watching the movie?

A) To never compromise to be someone else never change who you are to be accepted or liked by others. Because the very same thing you may find to be an imperfection can be something that someone else views to be perfect.

Q) You are a part of social media. Are you excited to see the instant fan feedback you’ll receive to it?

A) Yes very. I am getting better at social media now thanks to my beautiful fans “nugget nation.” So, I’m really hype to hear how much they loved the movie and “Dan the man.”

Q) We’ve loved seeing you on “Scream.” What did you personally take away from being a part of the series?

A) It was my first horror project, so the entire thing was a new experience with this amazing cast and the great directors of this season. I took away a plate full of great vibes and knowledge.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and the work that you do?

A) I love you thank you for rocking with me I promise to keep giving you amazing vibes smiles and art. #nuggetnation
