Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would describe my sound as soothing. However, I would also describe it as powerful and dominant.

Q) Who are some artists that inspire you?

A) Some artists that inspire me are Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, Whitney Houston, Lana Del Rey and Mariah Carey.

Q) Your single “Truce” has such a powerful meaning behind it. What were some of the challenges of writing such a relatable, moving song?

A) There are always many challenges of writing a song especially for the first time. When writing “Truce,” the challenges including working on constructing the format of the words and putting them into place, trying to think of lines that could fill in any possible gaps, etc.

Q) The video for “Truce” is also incredibly moving. You mentioned you wanted it to begin dark and then find peace. How did you come up with this idea, specifically the end with the butterflies?

A) I look at butterflies as a symbol of love, peace, softness and “calling a truce” reminded me of a butterfly. I thought it would be great to incorporate butterflies in my music video because they truly have lots of meaning and give a sense of peace.

Q) “Truce” has a beautiful message about forgiveness and finding peace. Why do you think the message behind it is so important, especially now?

A) The message behind finding peace is so important because there are so many people in this world suffering, and everyone has a different reason as to what they’re trying to heal from.

Q) How do you hope people react and relate to the song?

A) When people listen to “Truce” I hope that they relate to the song in a way that makes them find peace in themselves and who they are as a person and let go of the hurt they have overcome.

Q) Who are some people you want to collaborate with in the new year?

A) Some people I would like to collaborate with next year are just producers and songwriters who can create an openminded abilities. No one specific, just someone who can have fun and work like a rockstar at the same time.

Q) You got your start as a Golden Buzzer act on “America’s Got Talent.” Do you have any plans to return to perform or work with any fellow acts?

A) At the moment I do not have plans of returning to “AGT.” However, it would be wonderful to be a guest or just simply be a part of the audience in Los Angeles one day.

Q) You also are an actress. Tell me about your experience on “Three Pines.”

A) My experience on “Three Pines” was nothing but extraordinary. I was treated amazingly, especially considering it was my first acting job. And it felt like I have been doing it for years already.
