Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) A coming of age, very cryptic novel for the new age.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Currently Yves Tumor and Tei shi. They influence the next project. Honest red is influenced by Frank Ocean, Kid Ccudi, Kanye and Sleeping With Sirens.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Heart(Break).”

A) It means taking a heart(break) not a heartbreak that hurts more like a break for your heart to rejuvenate.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I honestly think they like it because of the rawness, but idk if it’s just that. That’s a question for the fans.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I do need music before lyrics, but it’s all a building block project for me because majority of the things I’m saying are freestyles of emotion.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I say something here and there, but my boi squrl be whipping it.

Q) What are some themes you will be exploring on your upcoming Honest Red EP?

A) Breakout. The dark guided mind and the dark misguided mind. The trifecta. The light guided mind battling the dark misguided mind.

Q) What songs off your EP hold a special place in your heart and why?

A) WH(3)RE, (BLACK)PLANET and LI(AR). These songs tell the most about how my mind feels all the time from the bashing angel on my shoulder to the self-reflecting ghost that comes to me in “WH(3)RE.”

Q) How did you shake off a long day of being in the studio for this EP?

A) Pizza. I love pizza.

Q) What do you hope listeners take away from listening to your new EP as a whole?

A) Be yourself and love yaself at the same time.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I honestly don’t know much about places to perform

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Kid Cudi and Frank Ocean. That song would be so beautiful

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Dummy Portishead. They was doing some shit with their frequencies and I love that so much.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) It’s the new age and social media can make or break you, so why not let it make you?

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I love you for supporting and when Honest Red comes out let’s all get pizza to celebrate!
