Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would describe my sound as pop/alternative. I think I’m a mix between Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I have many musical influences! I love Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Jon Bellion, Blackbear, Sabrina Carpenter and Linkin Park.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) I normally get inspiration at very random times throughout the day. It will be 2 AM, right before I go to bed and a melody or lyrics will pop into my head and I quickly jot them down or record a memo on my phone. I sometimes get carried away and before I know it, it’s 4 AM and I have a multitude of songs written, complete with a video storyboard for each!

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) My producer and I, Andrew Lane, work very well together in the production of my music. Sometimes I’ll come up with lyrics or melodies and I’ll send them to him and he’ll create a track around it. He also knows me very well and knows what I like, that he will sometimes create a whole song and we’ll go from there. I think we have a great mix of creativity going.

Q) What songs off your Last Tears EP are you looking forward to performing live?

A) My EP Last Tears has some of my favorite material on it. I’ve been performing them all over the US for the past year, but my favorite song to sing off of it is definitely Last Tears!

Q) What do you hope listeners take away from listening to your new EP as a whole?

A) I think my EP has a very unique sound and style. I hope they enjoy listening to the songs and can find something they can relate to in them.

Q) You recently moved to LA. What made you pick this location for the next step in your future?

A) Moving to LA has always been a dream of mine. The multitude of opportunities is endless. Also, my dad and Andrew Lane are business partners and co-own Nfinity Recording Studios in Universal City.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I think performing any place in San Antonio, Texas is very special to me because that is my hometown and it’s always fun to go back to my roots!

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I would love to collaborate with Bruno Mars or Ed Sheeran. I respect them both so much as artists and creatives.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I am currently listening to Blackbear. His style is so unique and unlike anything I have ever heard before. I love it!

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media is amazing to be able to connect with the people that follow me. From Brazil, to the UK, to the Philippines, they’re all just a message away. I love talking to them. They are like my best friends!

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I would like to say a big thank you for supporting me and following me through this crazy journey. I have no idea where I would be without your constant love! I’m so glad you enjoy my music and I cannot wait to put out more records for you guys to listen to. Love you family!
