This week’s episode of Shameless continues to lead Fiona (Emmy Rossum) down the path of destruction. As she wakes up from a drunken night of passing out, she heads to the bathroom to take a shower. However, before she does that, she proceeds to fill up her water bottle with some vodka. Debbie (Emma Kenney) has had enough of Fiona’s behavior and proceeds to turn off the water so Fiona can’t take a shower. She wants her to pay for the bills that she and Carl pitched in for otherwise she cannot use any of the facilities at home.

Fiona says that she doesn’t owe Debbie any money because of all the bills she took care of over the last eighteen years. This allows her to use anything in the Gallagher house until the year 2040, at the very least. Unfortunately, Debbie is not convinced or sympathetic towards Fiona in any way and turns off the water valve completely. Out of anger, Fiona storms down in her towel as Lip (Jeremy Allen White) tries to calm Debbie down reminding her of how much Fiona has done for them over the years. In the middle of their argument Ford (Richard Flood) shows up, momentarily uniting them against the guy who hurt Fiona. He wants his tool bag back that he knows Fiona is holding hostage, but before he can get anything back the Gallaghers kick him out of the house. All of this still isn’t enough to convince Debbie to let Fiona finish her shower so Fiona heads to V’s (Shanola Hampton) house to finish it.

Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) is still head over heels in love with his new girlfriend, Kelly (Jess Gabor), and shows up at her house wondering where she has been all night. Unfortunately for Carl, her dad found out about their nightly rendezvous and is livid about how it has all impacted Kelly. Carl shouts out to Kelly that he’s not afraid of her dad, who just so happens to be standing next to him with a gun.

Lip is dealt a bit more than he was expecting in this week’s episode as Tami’s (Kate Miner) ex shows up in town as her entire family prepares to run a 5K in honor of her mother. While everyone is prepping at Patsy’s, Fiona shows up still hungover from the night before. She hands Eliza (Rebecca Field) money to put in the register, but is caught off guard when Eliza tells her she reeks of alcohol. Things get hostile when Fiona tries to cover up the smell by saying it is mouthwash and basically tells Eliza to mind her own business and do as she is told. From a distance, Lip is watching his sister lose it and a look of concern comes over his face. He doesn’t get much time to process because Tami’s ex Boone (Anton Narinskiy) walks in and the entire family begins cheering for him. As he walks into Patsy, he walks right up to Tami and gives her a kiss while Lip awkwardly watches from a distance.

It turns out that Frank (William H. Macy) is going to be a father again–sort of. After stealing Carl’s sperm and playing it off as his own, he and Ingrid (Katey Sagal) find out they’re pregnant–with six kids. Ingrid insists that she keep all six children whereas the doctor (Joy Osmanski) says she can only keep three if she wants to survive the pregnancy. Ingrid resists at first, but the doctor says that she legally cannot allow her to do more than three, otherwise she’ll lose her medical license. It seems like Frank may be becoming more than just a father as the scene shifts to a pitch meeting regarding an alcoholic drink known as, “American Hobo.” During the presentation, pictures of homeless people are shown and in one of the pictures we see Frank. The company names this marketing campaign “Hobo Loco” and want to find someone to represent the face of it. The drink gets sent out to bars (including the Alibi) for free as a promotion along with the news that there will be a contest to find the face of the drink.

Veronica and Kev (Steve Howey) are still trying to figure out what to do about Santiago (Anthony Gonzalez), who they recently learned has family in the United States. V feels it is best to return him to the family he was going to eventually meet and Kevin is a bit hesitant but wants the best for his “son.” It turns out V had been snooping through Santiago’s stuff and found a picture of his uncle who lives in Indiana. As they take a shot of the Hobo Loco and almost throw up from it, they make the decision to go to Indiana to find Santiago’s uncle.

While everyone else is gagging at the first sip of Hobo Loco, Frank seems to be enjoying it when he shows up at the Alibi with Ingrid. Perhaps it’s the shock of being the future father of three children that masks the taste, but he’s all about it. Up until now, Frank believes that they are going to have triplets, but Ingrid reverts back to her decision about wanting all six of the kids.

Tami finally reveals more about her ex to Lip, who has no idea what to do with him around. It turns out that Tami’s mom and her ex’s mom were best friends. Also, when her mother was passing away she asked Boone to promise to take care of Tami. It makes the situation complicated and difficult to navigate as a result.

Fiona continues to spiral throughout the day as she almost gets into a fight while on the subway. She fights a man for a seat that she wants a pregnant woman to take. However, after kicking him off of his seat the woman isn’t even interested in sitting down, which pisses Fiona off some more.

While Kev and V are gone, Debbie agrees to look after Santiago. She is still demanding money from all her siblings to pay towards the bills. This includes Liam (Christian Isaiah), who has to figure out a way to earn his share of the money. He recruits Santiago for help. Liam just so happens to know Spanish so he has no problem communicating with his new pal.

When Carl returns home, Debbie tells him he owes seventy dollars as well. He doesn’t have time to argue with her because he’s deep in thought regarding Kelly’s future. He believes he is a bad influence on her and sees how it has impacted her life as a result. But Kelly is not in agreement and says she is doing what she is doing because that’s what she wants. Back at the diner, Fiona loses it again when Ford shows up asking for his tools. She starts throwing plates at him and creating a scene in front of the customers. She even snaps at one of the male customers after he accidentally grazes by her. She takes this to mean the guy did it on purpose and starts fighting him as well. Eliza finally steps in and says that Fiona needs to do something about all this anger inside of her and suggests she join her for boxing classes.

Meanwhile, Ingrid calls their doctor and says that she is not going to reduce any of the embryos and wants to keep all six. Naturally, the doctor begins screaming at her and tells her there is no way that she will allow this as she will lose her medical license.

V and Kev arrive at a liquor store looking for anyone named Jose. They meet multiple men claiming that their name is Jose and they have a nephew named Santiago. Back in the South Side, Liam and Santiago are up to something as Santiago comes up with an idea for Liam to make money for bills. So what is their grand plan? They are going to tie Santiago up as Liam charges a dollar per brick to build a wall around Santiago. People willingly pay to see this happen while V and Kev somehow manage to get the real Jose arrested by the cops for being illegal.

Kelly is still ignoring her father’s requests to come home and take her future seriously. Carl decides the only solution is to break up, but Kelly resists saying that she may not even want to take the path her father is forcing her to go down. She really just wants to watch TV with him and relax. Frank and Ingrid show up announcing they are pregnant, as Fiona hands Debbie some of the money she owes her. The entire family is amused by Frank’s eagerness to be a father again considering how bad he was at it the first time around. Nonetheless, Ingrid is ready and decides to make a vision board, recruiting Kelly and Carl to help her with it and tells them to make one of their own.

Fiona goes to check out the boxing class with Eliza and is a bit hesitant about being there. However, her rage soon begins coming out and she ends up punching the instructor right in the face–giving him a bloody nose. Her anger continues to flair when the guy asks her out for a drink and she resorts to yelling that all men are scum.

Disheartened, V and Kevin return to the Alibi after losing Santiago’s uncle. Frank is there freaking out about the cost of having all these children when he learns about the Hobo Loco contest. He thinks he is the perfect man for it and he just might be.

Back at the Gallagher house, Liam returns home to find that Debbie has changed the locks. He doesn’t have enough money to cover his expenses so he has to sleep outside. Fiona eventually makes her way home after trashing Ford’s home by throwing his tools through his house windows. She sees that Liam is sleeping outside and asks him to never hurt women. He responds saying he’s not even sure he is into women. Debbie finally breaks down and allows Fiona and Liam into the house with the promise that they still will pay their part.
