Q) What inspired your new single “Undermined?”
A) This song was written as an anthem of anger, resilience and taking your power back after someone made you feel small, manipulated or lied to. It’s about refusing to stay silent and rising stronger than ever.
Q) What has the fan reaction been like so far to the song and how they relate to it?
A) It’s been amazing so far! The song has already surpassed 100,000 Spotify streams and the music video has reached over 600,000 views on YouTube. The best part has been hearing from listeners who connect with the emotion behind it. People have told me they relate to it in so many different situations they’re facing, which has been rewarding to hear.
Q) The song was written, recorded and co-produced by you. Why was it so important for you to be so hands on with the track?
A) I love crafting every part of my original songs from start to finish. Writing and recording the drums, bass, guitars and vocals allows me to bring the full vision I hear in my head to life. With every new song, I’m really just trying to outdo myself and keep growing as a musician and songwriter.
Q) There is such a high-energy, intense vibe to the video for “Undermined.” How does the visuals play into the message of the song?
A) I wanted the music video to capture the raw, unfiltered energy of the song through a performance-driven concept. Filming in a parking garage with minimal set changes helped emphasize that gritty, authentic feel while keeping the focus on the emotion and intensity of the performance. It also gives people a real taste of what they can expect from my live shows.
Q) Your debut album NEW GENERATION came out in 2025. Is there another album or EP set to drop soon?
A) As of right now, I’m continuing to release new singles a few months apart that will be part of my next project just to see how the response is. My next larger release won’t be until sometime in 2027.
Q) You’ve recently been touring. What can fans expect from a live Sierra Levesque show? A mix of hits and covers?
A) I perform in a wide variety of settings, from clubs and bars to coffee shops and everything in between. Audiences can expect a dynamic show featuring both acoustic and electric guitar, a mix of my original songs performed with my fully self-recorded full-band backing tracks and a selection of well-known covers woven throughout the set.
Q) We’ve seen you hit the stage delivering powerful performances. What songs are still some of your favorites to do for live shows?
A) I love performing my original songs “AUTHORITY,” “UNDERMINED” and “NEW GENERATION.” They’re some of my newest releases and it’s always a highlight when the audience joins in on the “hey, hey” chant during “NEW GENERATION.” No matter the size of the venue, hearing the crowd sing along creates an incredible energy and makes every performance memorable.
Q) When we talked in 2023 your dream collaboration was Tobias Forge. Who are some of your current dream collab artists?
A) Tobias is still at the top of my list, but some others who I would love to collaborate with are Billy Corgan, Nancy Wilson of Heart, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Buckethead, Axl Rose and The Warning.
Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of you and the wonderful music that you make?
A) I’d like to thank everyone who has ever followed my journey, listened to one of my songs, bought my merchandise or come out to one of my shows. Your support truly means the world to me and I wouldn’t be able to keep doing what I love without each and every one of you. Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
