This week´s episode is a holiday one! It starts at Richmond with the team doing a Secret Santa for Christmas. Colin (Billy Harris) got a scarf from Moe (Mohammed Hashim) which he loves. Isaac (Kola Bokinni) calls Dani Rojas (Cristo Fernandez) to approach so his Secret Santa can reveal himself. Meanwhile, the coaching team is doing an present exchange of their own. Nathan (Nick Mohammed) gives Ted (Jason Sudeikis) a photo from their first victory. Everybody seems to have plans for later, Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt) will be going to a pagan Christmas ritual at Stonehenge with Jane because they bought the tickets before they broke up and they´re now going as friends. Ted asks Keeley (Juno Temple) what she´s doing. She says that her and Roy (Brett Goldstein) are celebrating a new tradition called sexy Christmas. Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) walks in saying she´s going to Elton John´s house party and finally Higgins (Jeremy Swift) will be hosting an open house for players who don´t family in town. Ted´s plans sound the saddest though. He will be spending this time away from his son, and opening presents through Facetime. They´re interrupted by Jamie (Phil Dunster) asking if they have anything he could give away as a present since he didn´t buy anything.

While Keeley´s expecting Roy, she´s surprised by Phoebe (Elodie Blomfield) at the door and she seems upset. SHe has been all week but doesn´t talk about it. Back at the Higgins house Sam (Toheeb Jimoh) is the first one to arrive.  Ted´s Facetiming with his Henry (Gus Turner), but the child quickly steps away to try his present, giving the computer back to Michelle (Andrea Anders). Sadly, that also doesn´t last as she has to go look after him. Back at Keeley´s she´s trying to get Phoebe to tell her what´s wrong. She refuses at first but finally says that a boy at school named Bernard (Solly Cowdery) was mean to her and gave her a toothbrush and mouthwash as a present because her breath smells very bad. Keeley doesn´t think it´s that bad and asks her to blow on her. Unfortunately, it is. Roy tries it too, saying that spending locker rooms with men for the last twenty years will make him used to bad smells but it doesn´t. It may seem like a something is very clinically wrong, so off they go looking for a dentist.

More players arrive at Higgins´ open house. Dani, Richard (Stephen Manas) and Jan (David Elsendoorn) are welcomed by Julie Higgins (Mary Roscoe). Soon enough most of the Richmond team is there. Ted is recued by Rebecca and they go to the houses of kids to deliver presents. Roy and Keeley finally find a dentist in the last house they visit and Dr. Rogers (Claire Skinner) is able to tell that Phoebe´s  antihistamines are likely causing her bad breath. She suggests some medicine to fix it. Roy tries the “being a bigger person action” and buys some markers and paper. They go to Bernard´s house in some sort of Love Actually bit but for being a better person. Dinner at the Higgins home ends up being very sweet. They´re even interrupted by some music outside. Ted and Rebecca are singing “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” in the sweetest “Ted Lasso” episode ever.
