Social media is standing behind Starlight in response to her speech at the Expo. Hughie (Jack Quaid) and Starlight (Erin Moriarty) are on a date at a bar for trivia night. They run into one of his old classmates who proceeds to embarrass Hughie with old stories.

Homelander (Antony Starr) is doing an interview in his childhood home. He is reminiscing room to room about his toys and family until he sees a blanket laying on his bed. Seeing the blanket angers him and he refuses to continue with the interview.

Butcher (Karl Urban), Hughie, Frenchie (Tomer Capon) and Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso) are discussing how every supe except Homelander has a birth record, which discloses they were dosed as an infant with Compound V. The hospitals have used the polio vaccine as a cover since 1971. Frenchie tells them that the supe woman was dosed as an adult in the basement where they found her.

Frenchie suggests they get a supe named Mesmer to read the woman’s thoughts. He convinces Mother’s Milk to take him to meet Mesmer. Butcher takes Hughie to a meeting where people hurt by supes discuss their issues. Butcher gets angry that the group wants to let go of their issues instead of acting on their feelings against supes.

Stillwell (Elisabeth Shue) orders The Deep (Chace Crawford) to apologize publicaly for assaulting Starlight and places him on a leave from The Seven in Sandusky, Ohio.

Mesmer (Haley Joel Osment) is autographing pictures at a small convention with other low level supes and celebrities (we see you Billy Zane). Mother’s Milk takes Mesmer to see his daughter who is in the care of Child Protective Services. He offers to allow Mesmer monthly visits if Mesmer helps Frenchie figure out about The Female.

Butcher and Hughie are sitting on the bench where Robin was last spotted alive. Butcher tells Hughie that his wife was raped by Homelander and then she disappeared. He tells Hughie that either Homelander killed her or she killed herself, but either way it is Homelander’s fault. He reminds Hughie not to get distracted from his mission to get revenge for Robin’s death.

Mesmer is with The Female (Karen Fukuhara) and attempts to read her mind. He is bombarded with images while the woman is feeling pain. She breaks his arm and pushes him away. Mother’s Milk and Frenchie insist they continue. Butcher and Hughie arrive while Mesmer finishes his reading. He tells them that she is a soldier for The Shining Light Liberation Army terrorist group.

Homelander finds his blanket again on set. He remembers being a child locked alone in an empty room with just a blanket to comfort himself.

The Boys are discussing how Vought is creating terrorists in order for the supes to be needed by the government for protection. The woman grabs Mesmer again to show him that she was taken from her home by the terrorists along with her brother. She just wants to save her brother and her name is Kimiko.

Butcher is in Raynor’s office. He tells the Agent Raynor (Jennifer Esposito) that Vought is dosing babies, creating terrorists and shows her a sample of Compound V. He provides her with a list of his demands. She tells Butcher that she can meet all of them except she cannot prosecute Homelander. She tells Butcher that he is too dangerous if he is pushed.

Frenchie asks Kimiko is she wants to stay and help them get revenge or leave and save her brother. Kimiko agrees to stay. Butcher comes back and lies to the men saying that Raynor refused to meet any of their demands. He tells the men they will need to handle it themselves.

Mesmer flips on The Boys and tells Homelander where he can find them. Homelander flies off.
