Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is sitting in S.T.A.R. labs when some men come to arrest him.

12 hours earlier, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) are walking through S.T.A.R. Labs ready to go on vacation. Iris doesn’t think it’s a good time to be leaving the team, but Barry convinces her to stop worrying. He wants to take her someplace special. They walk into the cortex where Cisco and Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) are sitting at the comms. Barry wants to make sure everything is good and Cisco says he’s got it under control. He explains that he has made The B.A.R.I. — Barry Allen Replicated intelligence. It is a decision making intelligence that will help him decide what to do based off of Barry’s past leadership choices. Iris asks it what Barry’s favorite breakfast is that’s made by her and Barry hesitantly says banana. The B.A.R.I. responds with the correct answer. Iris is impressed. They try another question and after giving another answer Barry deduces that The B.A.R.I. is actually correct. Barry and Iris zoom off on their vacation. Cisco stays at the lab and Ralph goes to find Killer Frost.

Joe (Jesse L. Martin) is following Wells (Tom Cavanagh) through the sewers to find out why he’s been searching for something. Joe introduces himself and says that he’s been keeping tabs on the “new” Wells. He tells Joe that he couldn’t possibly understand. But when Wells tries to move Joe’s arm blocking his way, his wristlet shoots out at the cave causing the rocks to come tumbling down – blocking them in.

Cisco and Kamilla (Victoria Park) are settling in for bed. They lay down, but suddenly things turn black and white and we see Cisco open his eyes, get up from the bed and grab scissors. Right before he cuts his hair he comes back to reality and throws the scissors to the ground screaming. He wakes Kamilla confused at what’s happening. Kamilla thinks it’s his new thing now because he did the same thing the night before. He had on his shoes and keys in his hand. He almost tells her he loves her before he falls back asleep, but when they turn over they hear a noise and see Breacher (Danny Trejo) come through a portal. He tells Cisco that Cynthia is dead.

They got to S.T.A.R. Labs where Breacher tells them that Cynthia was chasing a high-level hacker named Echo. They think that Cynthia finally figured out Echo’s true identity. They fought on Earth-1 but there were barriers put up so that suspects can’t breach their way to another world. Cynthia’s killer is still there. Breacher wants Cisco’s help, but Kamilla mentions that he doesn’t have his powers anymore. Breacher asks him if he was scared of Breach Psychosis, which causes hallucinations after suppressing his powers. Cicso says that they’re just gone, but he helps anyway. Cisco asks The BARI for help. It tells him to go to the crime scene and Kamilla offers to go with him.

Joe and Wells are still in the cave. Joe’s trying to get service, but Wells isn’t confident in his thought process. Wells says he is going to get them out and shoots off a gun that causes a fire to erupt. His gun doesn’t work there and all the oxygen in the cave will be gone soon.

Frost and Norvok (Mark Sweatman) go to an alley to see some of Rosso’s (Sendhil Ramamurthy) blood on the building. He tells Killer Frost that he wouldn’t go looking for him when Ralph comes out of the building. He says that she should let him help her find Ramsey, but she’s upset because people are dead now. Ralph tells her that she needs to have faith in the people around her and she says that she knows who Ramsey has faith in, so she’s going to go there now. Ralph doesn’t want her to go alone, but she says she won’t be.

Cisco and Kamilla are at the crime scene when Cisco tells her that there is something he’s been trying to say to her. But he gets stopped when Kamilla sees all the people around Cynthia’s crime scene. One of the detectives comes to him, mentioning that Cynthia spoke of him. He asks for Breacher and Cisco says he saw enough. They allow them authorization. They show Cisco that she was killed by vaporization. Cisco kneels over the crime scene as tears come to his eyes.

Cisco tells Kamilla that he doesn’t want her to think he’s still hung up over Cynthia, but she isn’t worried. She asks him what he was going to say earlier, but before he can reply the cop comes back to tell them he’s locking down the area. Before they leav, he tells Cisco that he truly admired Cynthia. The B.A.R.I. tells them they need a dual source of action because they’re not giving up and they both leave to do their parts.

Wells is still trying to fight his way out of the barrier, but Joe is calmly sitting. He tells Wells that he only selfishly cares about himself and that’s exactly how he used to be. He went to church to yell at the universe, but when he went home he was so hurt that he couldn’t fix food for his daughter. Then, he opened the door to his neighborhood cooking food for them and that’s when he realized that he had faith in people.

If Cisco thinks of Cynthia a machine he has will help him get the information off of the object he has from the crime. They initiate the process and go into the events of that night. Scenes begin to flash and we see Cynthia and Echo fighting. While they’re in the vision, an alert shows that the transonic-demoleculizer has been located, so Kamilla leaves. They watch Cynthia get vaporized and see Echo pull his hood off — revealing Cisco. Kamilla finds the vaporizer that killed Cynthia in a drawer in the workshop.

Breacher immediately starts swinging his knife at Cisco yelling that he killed Cynthia. Kamilla runs in with the vaporizer trying to convince Breacher that Cisco is innocent even though she found the weapon in his workshop. She suggests doppelgangers, but Breacher thinks he’s the only one with the motive and gut to do it. Cisco disagrees but then thinks that it was possibly his breach psychosis. Breacher is still upset, but then he says it’s not his fault and he not only lost a daughter but now he’s lost a son. He gives Cisco an hour to turn himself in or he will end him himself.

Wells is trying to create a bomb to blow the rocks away, but Joe still says they have time for the team to show up. Wells is tired of hearing his faith in his team, but Joe tells him he has to have it because someone named The Monitor says that his son is going to die soon and that’s the only way he can come to terms with allowing it to happen. Wells realizes what he’s said and asks him if he’s seen Mar Novu. Joe starts to lose oxygen right before Wells is about to press the button. Ralph breaks through to save them!

Ramsey is in his lab when Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) comes to see him. She got his message that she says it reminds him of when they worked for his mom. He says he saw her more like a sister and that’s why he’s offering her a chance to join him. He shows her his way was to control blood and how he’s developed immortality. He tells her to take a look at her own life, but she isn’t intrigued by his version of life. She tells him that he needs to have faith in himself, but he forcefully grabs her around the neck and then drops her. He leaves her by saying that she won’t have a choice next time.

Cisco is freaking out telling Kamilla that he has to own up to what he did. He says that he can’t trust himself anymore, but Kamilla says that he stopped having faith in himself a long time ago. However, she has faith in him and doesn’t think he needs elaborate devices to succeed. He tells her he doesn’t think he’ll be able to save people the way Barry does when he’s gone. She shares that Barry chose him to be him, not The Flash. All those thoughts are just noise in his head. Cisco goes back to the machine where he sees that it’s turned his white noise machine into something else. The codes have been changed and the only person smart enough to do it is him.

The men come into S.T.A.R. labs where Cisco is waiting as he says that when you can’t put faith in the truth all you have left is yourself. He surrenders and says that he’s guilty, but tells Breacher that the cube will tell him everything he needs to know about who killed Cynthia. They try to cuff him, but they realize that Cisco has put them in a forcefield. He tells Breacher that he’s not going to let the man that murdered his daughter go.

Cisco breaches out where Echo is standing in the place where he murdered Cynthia. He isn’t phased. Echo says he has two minutes until his escape plan boots up and then Cisco will take his place in collector’s jail. Cisco recounts how Echo got into the lab to plant the gun as he holds it up towards him. He says he tipped his hand when he hacked the white noise machine. Echo says he specializes in hacking multiversal databases to create new identities. He asks if he killed her to keep creating fake identities for people. Echo then explains how Cynthia chased him for years, but she never saw his face. When she finally saw it she hesitated and breached him to that earth because when she saw Echco’s face she saw Cisco. Echo and Cisco battle for the weapon and when Echo finally grabs it to shoot it entraps him. Cisco rewired it. The collectors come through the breach to arrest Echo.

Breacher tells Cisco that he’s sorry that he lost faith in him. Cisco says he doesn’t understand that if Cynthia was dying why did she come to Earth-1. Breacher explains that she knew Cisco would bring Echo to justice. She never lost faith in him. Breacher and Cisco say that they have to start healing and Breacher invites them to their remembrance for Cynthia. Breacher says that Cynthia would have loved Kamilla and Cisco accidentally says, “What’s not to love?” while looking at her. Breacher says it’s awkward and quickly retreats through a breach. Cisco turns to Kamilla saying that they haven’t said it, but Kamilla gets him and the two share a kiss.

Barry and Iris walk into the cortex where Cisco is sitting where he was when they left. He welcomes them back with hugs and asks them how about their trip. Iris tells him it was amazing and then an alert pops up letting them know that Chester’s energy level is already up to eighty-seven percent. Barry says he guesses The B.A.R.I. was a success, so Cisco tells him that it was but over time he realized that he didn’t need it. Barry says it just proves how good of a leader he will be. Iris tells him how sorry they are about Kamilla. They offer to go to her service, but Cisco says that Kamilla is going to go with him. He says it feels like he’s moving on suddenly after all that’s happened and Iris says it sounds like a person who is in love. He states he thinks Cynthia taught him he was the person he needed to be for when the right person came along and he’ll never forget her for that reason.

Joe, Wells, Killer Frost and Wells are getting checked. Joe says it would help if he told them why he was down in the caves. So, he tells them it was to get the whole gang together because he knows how to save Barry.
