Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy, and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments, so keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Station 19, “Always Ready” – Vicky and Ripley, together for the last time.

I have only seen this show a handful of times and every time I watched Vicky (Barrett Doss) and Chief Ripley’s (Brett Tucker) relationship always caught my attention. So, when I watched this episode my heart broke for Vicky. I didn’t actually think they were going to kill Ripley off. However, this is a Shondaland show, so I’m not surprised. The couple’s final moments mixed in with moments throughout their relationship was beautifully placed. I had tears in my eyes as they jokedA about the trips they were going to take. Down to the last moments between the two, I felt how much they loved each other and how devastating of a death this was.

Comedy: Abby’s, “Liquid Courage” – James finds his voice and loses the nerves!

James (Leonard Ouzts) found the courage to take a stand for Abby’s and make it with confidence thanks to his new promotion at work. After some tequila shots James kicks one of Abby’s (Natalie Morales) neighbors out of the bar causing some trouble. It was great to see James coming up with ways to convince the neighbor how to not try and get a restriction put on the bar. Even though the alcohol helped him be more bold, James had the power inside of him to be authoritative and collected when he needed to be.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: The Twilight Zone, “Six Degrees of Freedom” – The freakout!

When Jerry (Jefferson White) started to tell the rest of the team about his theory, I knew he was headed for a demise. White’s performance while he was hysterically telling the others about his plan was outstanding. He went from calm and collected to crazed and determined right before their eyes. I must say, I knew one of the team members would flip at one point, but he was not my first guess. Right up until the moment that he was eviscerated by the sun I thought he may have been on to something. I was glad that in the end he was, but that moment definitely had me scared enough for all of them. This was a fantastic episode!
