Top 3 TV Moments – December 6 – December 11

By  |

Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: The Wilds, “Day Seven” – Changes

In their efforts to search for Fatin, (Sophia Ali) Rachel falls into a sinkhole and the girls have to fight to pull her out. Not only were they fighting the sinkhole, but Rachel (Reign Edwards) herself as she was determined to get out of it on her own. When Dot (Shannon Berry) finally gets her to stop yelling at them and tells her that she has to calm down and let them help, they pull her out. This scene was one of the best because it showed how Rachel could have hurt herself in a major way just because of her stubbornness and constant need to be in control. This was a small step in her character growth and I love the way it was filmed.

Comedy/Reality TV: Bob Hearts Abishola, “Camp Bananas” – Calmness

Bob (Billy Gardell) and Abishola (Folake Olowofoyeku) get away from all of the chaos going on around them by going to the park for a picnic. I really enjoyed this scene of seeing them hanging out in the park having a moment of calmness. Abishola yelling out about tattoos was the funniest thing to see. So calm but delivered so well.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: His Dark Materials, “The Scholar” – The fight

The fight between Will (Amir Wilson) and Carlo Boreal (Ariyon Bakare) was worth the watch. One thing I like about this show is their battles and this one was just like the rest.  Will wielded the sword for the first time as well. They’ve done a good job building up to the points that were made in this episode with those final moments bringing it together.
