Top 3 TV Moments – January 12 – January 17

Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Sex Education, “Episode 7” – The girls are all right!

The girls get detention after being accused of slut-shaming their teacher. The Breakfast Club inspired moment allowed the girls of the show to come together in a way that they usually wouldn’t. It was short and to the point, but it gave them a lasting impact. After feeling connected from sharing their stories of sexual harassment and more, they were able to form a bond and decided to join Amiee (Aimee Lou Wood) on the bus. This season had so many wonderful moments and this was one of the best!

Comedy/Reality TV: Grace and Frankie, “The Rescue” – They can’t stay apart for long.

These two women can’t stay apart for long! When Grace (Jane Fonda) gets into a bind that she’s uncomfortable telling her husband (Peter Gallagher) about, she quickly decides that Frankie (Lily Tomlin) is the person to call. I love this moment because as soon as she pulled out her phone I knew Frankie was going to be the one to help her. These two are learning how to navigate and cherish their friendship more by being apart. This penultimate season is off to a great start. I just know the final season is going to be a great one!

Sci-fi/Fantasy: DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow – “Crisis On Infinite Earths: Part 5 – The Hall of Justice is finally up and running!

The Flash (Grant Gustin) ended the crossovers in the best way possible – by revealing the table with chairs that have their emblems on them where the heroes can convene when another catastrophic event happens. I loved watching how geeked Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Black Lightning (Cress Williams) were at seeing the table. They’re finally making use out of the abandoned hangar and, hopefully, we’ll see more of it – meaning not just once a year for a big crossover. The outside view of the building revealing the Hall of Justice was also a nice addition. After this long awaited crossover concluded, it was good to have this moment on Earth Prime.
