Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Burden of Truth, “It Takes A Village” –  Unaccomplished.

Joanna (Kristin Kreuk) tries to get a class action suit put in place that ends up not going in her favor. Her speech to the people got them to rally behind her and believe that she could make the changes needed for them, but in the end she failed to deliver. The disappointment and heartbreak that she was so scared to confront was written all over her face in the final moments of the episode. I hope she finds a way to turn things around for everyone, but it’s looking like there’s going to be some more fighting to do to get there.

Comedy/Reality TV: Search Party, “The Accused Woman” – A bloody nose.

Dory (Alia Shawkat) gets arrested and in an attempt to destroy evidence Shawkat brings the funniest and most disturbing moment of the Season 3 premiere. Dory sits and purposely makes her nose bleed so that she can trick the officer into giving her the belongings she had when she was arrested. The encounter between Dory and the officer is extremely chaotic and hilarious. She tells a lie that he stupidly believes, but she accomplishes her task and gets dragged away in the process.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Doom Patrol, “Fun Size Patrol” – Dorothy has an agenda.

Dorothy (Abigail Shapiro) tells her the monster in her head “will see” when it asks her when she’ll make a wish. The wish that she’s supposed to be making definitely has to do with her father, Chief (Timothy Dalton). I think all those years locked up definitely caused Dorothy to hold some animosity towards her father and she’s not just there to be apart of his life anymore. It seems like some sort of revenge is being plotted and in due time it will be a battle between her and her father. I can’t wait to see how her and the friends inside her head shake things up.
