Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Soulmates, “Little Adventure” – Here’s the thing…

Libby (Laia Costa) and Adam’s (Shamier Anderson) marriage and arrangement gets thrown on its head when Libby’s soulmate, Miranda (Georgina Campbell), is found through an app. The scene that was most profound to me was when Libby decided to leave Adam for Miranda and realized that she wasn’t happy there either. Even though in the end everyone wanted to fill the void that was missing from each relationship, I think that moment in Miranda’s apartment spoke a little more about Libby than anyone else. She was the one who always needed more than her partners could give. It added layers to her character in a subtle way and I really enjoyed watching her go through all of the emotions and changes throughout episode.

Comedy/Reality TV: Raven’s Home, “Baking Bad” – A kind heart matters.

Nia’s (Navia Ziraili Robinson) kind heart got her into a baking disaster and it’s caused by the real person behind the restaurant blog that bashes all the places around town. I liked this moment because it highlighted how absolutely nice Nia is and, even though she wasn’t the one to write all of those bad things, she let the real person have time to come to terms with what he had done. She gave him a chance to expose himself to everyone when he was ready instead of forcing it out of him. I don’t even think I could do that.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Pandora, “Gates of Eden” – Gone. But for how long?

Jax (Priscilla Quintana) and Matta (Tegen Short) find out that the obstacle is the path but at a cost. They end up taking Matta and now no one knows if she will return or is gone forever. It was a wild and sad moment to see her have to leave, but I don’t think this is the complete end for her. Will she return? And when she does, will she have changed? So many questions and possibilities are in the future for this character.
