Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Mostly pop with an RnB Flare

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Tone Stith, Chris brown, Justin Bieber, Robin Thicke, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, New Edition, Boys II Men and Charlie Puth.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Coconut Rum.”

A) “Coconut Rum” is about losing your best friend. I created the story to have it be more of a romantic relationship so that people could connect on a different level, but all in all it’s about a dark time in my life where I didn’t love myself and searched for love in the wrong places.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think we all go through the life lesson of not making a single person or persons(s) your main and maybe even only source of happiness. And at some point we all feel heartbreak. I think this speaks to any and everybody who has.

Q) How did you come to work with Honore on the track?

A) Reginald Cantrell Honore “HONORE” has been a long-time friend of mine who’s helped guide me as a mentor the last five years. A lot of what I know about the game and a lot of the reason I’m where I am now is because of him. And after getting the production done, I decided I’d be awesome to have him on the record as he is coming out as an artist and has a killer voice!

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) When it comes to writing for me the feeling and emotion of the cord progression will bring a story out of me that’ll be my main focus for the song. Once that’s available to me it’s a wrap.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) Me and My Co-Producer Matthew Veirs both work on every song together and I’d say we both put forth the same hard work, love and energy into the production. But as an artist, I refuse to not have my hand in the creation of the record at all times from all angles. As an ARTIST I should have a big role in the art being created.

Q) Will there be an EP or full album coming in the near future?

A) I am happy to announce that there will be and the project is already done. Just planning for release date!

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) The Kennedy Center was an awesome experience! I always wanted to perform there and I was super happy when I was given the opportunity and still am thankful for that opportunity.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Bruno Mars, Miguel, Ariana Grande

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) The Band Camino. They got hits back to back. Listened to their entire album with no skips!

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) I feel like as an artist the music is a reflection of myself and my emotions. I think it’s just as important to connect and show love back as much as possible.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) This is just the beginning. I love and appreciate you all for your continued support and I can’t wait to show you guys what I’ve been working all. There’s soooo many hits and I am always in the studio making you guys some new music, which is dropping super, super soon. So, keep an eye out and hopefully we can go on tour 2021!
