Laszlo (Matt Berry) has managed to test Guillermo’s (Harvey Guillén) blood in some frogs and now he has some very good news to give to the former familiar, the frogs not only have gained the ability to fly but also have grown some hair. So, Laszlo goes in search of Guillermo to show him his discovery. Guillermo is impressed to see the frogs flying right in front of him and he hopes that he can do the same. Luckily, Laszlo has thought the same thing and encourages Guillermo to take this chance and try to leap off of the balcony to prove it. At first, Guillermo does not seem to be quite convinced by his idea but he agrees to try it. Laszlo breaks a piece of the railing and waits for him downstairs. Guillermo finally takes this “leap of faith” and finds himself to be extremely surprised and excited to see that he is actually flying. Unfortunately, this moment of glory does not last long as he falls flat on the floor – breaking his ankle when he hears Nandor’s (Kayvan Novak) voice calling him. Nandor sees Guillermo lying there in pain and he immediately demands answers from Laszlo. Laszlo lies saying the he just found him there. The scream reaches to Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) who joins them right away in the living room complaining about the yelling. Right that moment Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) shows up evidently showing a black eye – something that takes their attention from Guillermo. They start questioning him about the reason why he is like that and Colin Robinson explains that he regularly uses it as a tool to attract people into asking him what happened so he can take the chance to drain some energy out of them. However, recently he hasn’t managed to succeed at this task and feels that he is losing his power. Colin Robinson has them mesmerized with his stories while Guillermo continues to scream out in pain but not one of them wants to move and help him until finally Nadja decides to go and assist him. Attending to Laszlos’ request, she carries Guillermo in her arms and starts her way to urgent care. In the meantime, Laszlo attempts to use an old machine to help Colin Robinson get more energy using Nandor as the source. When he is about to kick off the process, the other two vampires decide not to continue with this experiment and instead drain some energy in the old fashion way.

On their way to urgent care Nadja has decided to put Guillermo in a shopping cart. Meanwhile, she complains about being the one assigned to the task of taking him to the doctor. They make a stop for her to feed and Guillermo tries to escape expressing his concern that if he allows to be checked up by the doctor this one might know that he is actually a vampire. Nadja sees him trying to leave and stops him saying that they are very close to the vampire clinic which only makes Guillermo’s anguish grow.

The pair has finally made it to the clinic and Nadja rushes to write her name on the waiting list. Guillermo tries to flee again ,but he is immediately sedated and taken to another room. Moments later the doctor (Wayne Federman) comes out and calls for Nadja saying that Guillermo’s ankle has been taken care of but if she wants they might put him into eternal sleep since there is a chance that he might get his ankle broken again. Nadja does not agree to it. However, even though everything seems to be just alright with his ankle, his blood tests have revealed some inconsistencies and he would like to run another test on him. So, now Nadja is concerned that they might find out that he has Van Helsing blood running through his veins (she has seen nothing yet). Nadja ventures into looking for Guillermo and finds him lying on a bed absolutely sedated. She tries to help him escape, but then the doctor calls for her and drops the bomb that the former familiar has been avoiding – that he has been turned into a vampire. As expected, Nadja cannot believe this news since no one in the house would be capable of doing it. This makes things even more complicated and that’s when the doctor suggests that they might put him down. Nadja does not agree with this and yells at him with such strength that he is sent flying across the room. While they were having this heated conversation, Guillermo is taken against his will to be put down. The vampire goes after him and finds him strapped to a bed waiting for his end to come. Nadja faces him about the recent news and he confesses that it was Derek (Chris Sandiford) who turned him. She is surprised by it but now there are more important things to take care of as escaping from the clinic. Later they will have to deal with the fact that Nandor might want to kill him for his actions.  Before they can leave the doctor shows up willing to put Guillermo down, but Nadja fights him without much luck since now the doctor is only two steps away from killing her. Thankfully, Guillermo uses his telekinesis powers to throw things at him and Nadja is able to get the needle of poison out of the doctor’s hands and into his leg. Guillermo then he unties himself and saves Nadja.

Nandor and Colin Robinson are taking a stroll in the city until they find a crowded place that the vampire energy can use to feed off from but he is too tired to do anything and only wishes to go back home and sleep. However, Nandor is determined to not allow that to happen so he encourages tthem o go across the street and find his new victims. Although, before they can make it to the other sidewalk a car passes and runs over Colin Robinson’s foot. He jumps using only one foot to reach to the other side while random strangers amuse themselves watching him complain and recording him with their phones. Suddenly, the car that ran over Colin comes back and outside of it comes no other than John Slattery (himself) looking concerned about the vampire and offering to take him to the hospital. Colin obviously declines, but the actor then offers him to at least give them a ride home and they agree – that is before John takes some selfies with the fans who have recognized him. Once they are on their way to the vampires’ residence John makes sure that Colin Robinson is doing well and Nandor recommends to him to use this opportunity to drain some energy out of John Slattery. Oddly, we could say that John might as well be an energy vampire too since he starts talking nonstop, especially about Colin Robinson’s accent, until he’s completely in charge of the whole conversation leaving the two vampires speechless. When they see they will not get what they want from John, they decide to jump off the car and escape.

Nandor takes a feeble Colin Robinson to a convenience store using this as a last resource for him to feed but the store is in the middle of a robbery. Fortunately for them the thief (Kevan Kase) recognizes the vampire from a viral video that somebody uploaded when he was run over by John’s car and made a TikTok song of him. While the thief is distracted with this, the clerk (Rolando Alvarez Giacoman) of the store beats him in the head and that way the vampires save the day. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about Colin Robinson who collapses to the floor. Nandor takes him back to the residence and asks for Laszlo’s assistance who immediately prepares the machine to initiate the process of energy transfer. Colin Robinson is now fully recovered but Nandor appears to be drained.  Right that moment Nadja comes in screaming for Laszlo with Guillermo by her side and he goes running to her while Colin Robinson tries to give back some energy to Nandor.  Nadja is upset at Laszlo for hiding Guillermo’s secret from her but he assures that he has been trying to find a cure to reverse the effect. Nandor walks in completely restored next to Colin Robinson asking Nadja about Guillermo’s health. Nandor can already say that something is off with his familiar and roommates, especially when he sees one of the vampire frogs on Guillermo’s shoulder and finds it that it serves some resemblance with him. The silence in the room is in utter tension that is broken when Nadja lies to him saying that Guillermo will recover just fine.
