Kelsey (Hilary Duff) runs into Liza (Sutton Foster) on the New York City street, asking her about not stopping Josh’s (Nico Tortorella) wedding. Liza explains she didn’t think it was her place to tell Josh she was making a mistake. Plus, it’s Clare (Phoebe Dynevor) who wanted pictures of her there to vouch for her immigration.

Liza apologizes to Charles (Peter Hermann) for leaving on short notice for the wedding, but Charles has bigger things to worry about. He’s afraid he’s put Liza in a compromising position and says that if she feels uncomfortable or taken advantage of she has to let him know. Liza promises that what happened between them was incredible and that she thinks about it all the time. However, she can’t stand in the way of Pauline (Jennifer Westfeldt) and his family.

Charles thanks Liza for that but explains he’s talking about Edward L.L. Moore (Richard Masur). Moore is planning to write a prequel trilogy about Princess Pam Pam, but an anonymous source has accused him of inappropriate comments on a fan site. Zane (Charles Michael Davis) says this is all just a smear campaign, and Diana (Miriam Shor) reminds Liza losing Moore could put the company in jeopardy. Feeling pressured, Liza tells Charles Moore never crossed a line.

Diana tells Liza she’s been meticulously planning the Pam Pam Chronicles launch at Comic Con. Moore has requested all former Pam Pams be in costume and on stage during the announcement. She then chastises Liza for chasing Josh halfway around the world.

Kelsey brings Liza into the office where Pauline is waiting with the first box of Marriage Vacation books. Pauline gets choked up when she sees the cover, thanking them for all their support. Kelsey, however, is livid when she sees it will be published under the Empirical brand instead of the Millennial imprint and confronts Charles. Charles calmly tells Kelsey it will get a lot more buzz with the flagship company due to the Pam Pam Chronicles, but Kelsey is still furious. Zane jumping in to condescend Kelsey doesn’t help matters, either.

While picking up Diana’s lunch, Liza runs into Bob (Grant Shaud), Caitlin’s (Tessa Albertson) roommate’s father. Afterwards, she attends a sexual harassment session with the rest of the staff, and Bob is there acting as a lawyer to answer any questions. Liza ducks under the table, and once she explains who he is to Kelsey, Kelsey tells her to go.

Liza runs to the bathroom, and Diana follows her, assuming she was triggered by the conversation. Diana recalls the old days when they didn’t call it sexual harassment—they just called it business as usual. She tells Liza that eventually she started to be valued for her experience instead of her looks. Charles checks on Liza as well, assuring her the lawyer is gone. Liza lies and tells them both she just got bad diarrhea.

Kelsey and Zane get a drink and discuss how they’re going to work together. Kelsey is still bitter about Zane poaching Moore and nearly costing her her job, but Zane reminds her he’s basically singlehandedly saving Empirical. Zane shows Kelsey a Princess Pam Pam billboard in Times Square, and she’s admittedly impressed. However, she still refuses to have dinner with him.

At Comic Con, Moore tells Liza that every time he sits down to write, he thinks about burying his face in her bikini. Liza goes to round up the other Pam Pams, asking them if Moore has ever made inappropriate advances or comments towards them. After some hesitation, they all admit that he has.

Liza relays all of this to Charles before he goes onstage to introduce Moore. Instead of making a flattering speech about him, Charles announces that they’re going to delay the publication of the Pam Pam Chronicles until further notice because of all the allegations against him. Moore is furious, and lots of the fans are, too.

Charles gets word that Netflix has cancelled Moore’s series and Amazon has pulled all of his titles from their site. Charles doesn’t see how they can ever publish his books. Diana notes that everyone knew who is really was, but they didn’t want to believe their golden goose was corrupt.

Liza makes some calls and gets the Princess Pam Pam billboard Zane bought changed to a Marriage Vacation one. Pauline is humbled and excited, as is Kelsey when Charles tells her that they’re going to make it a Millennial book due to everything that has happened.

Moore angrily calls Charles, demanding a meeting. Charles agrees, and they plan to meet in Charles’ office. Moore tells Charles that Liza has no credibility, as his team did some research and found out she is a divorced 40-something housewife. Charles is shocked and upset.
