Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) I’ve been at the studio. I just finished three new hot singles coming soon.

Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) My songs are a combination rock, hip hop, R&B and Afro beat. Different.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) I love and respect most artists. Chance the Rapper, Lil Uzi Vert, Juice WRLD, Lil baby and definitely Billie Eilish have my sounds.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Carbon Copy.”

A) I collaborated with an A Nigerian artist, Olamide (Baddo). We wrote this song together in Nigeria while I was doing my tour. It’s about a girl who is so perfect she basically has the same caring and loving qualities of our mothers. This was actually the first song I have ever done in a different language known as “Pigeon English” and I’m proud of it.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) Fans were amazed I could sing. Plus, also I was one of the first and youngest artist to introduce this upbeat African afrobeat new wave hitting the American music industry.

Q) How will the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) We actually we never did a video for this particular song due to our busy schedule, but we have plans as soon as possible.

Q) What is your song writing process?

A) I don’t have one direct way of writing. Sometimes my lyrics can come to me out of the blue or I can just write to certain melodies I have in mind. And I can also write a song about any given subject that is needed.

Q) Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) Sometimes I do and sometimes not. It just second to nature. It just comes. I have written great songs in less than thirty minutes.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I have a big hand in my music I help produce my beats, and right my own lyrics.

Q) What can fans expect from a live ZMNY performance?

A) Just expect the most hype Pro-Formance when I hit the stage. A performance you don’t want to miss.

Q) Will there be a full EP or album coming in the near future?

A) Yes, there most definitely will be.

Q) You created your own record label! What inspired you to take that step?

A) Well, I didn’t want to be tied down to a life contract and have people change my music, style and the way I work.

Q) We have loved seeing you on “Shameless.” Talk about working with Christian Isaiah.

A) Christian is like a little brother to me. We have fun offset and on set. He’s a pure talent. Extremely intelligent, too.

Q) Have any of your costars given you any acting advice that you’ve taken to heart?

A) Yes, and I am always open to learn.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media is extremely important because it’s the biggest way to connect to the world. Also, it’s a good way for me to interact and grow my fanbase.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I want to thank every single one of you for your heartfelt support and encouragements. I wouldn’t be here today working and grinding without you all and may your wish come through.🙏🏾
