Q) What are the recent projects that you are working on?

A) “Lodge 49,” At Home with Amy Sedaris, “VEEP”

Q) Please tell us the premise for the show “Lodge 49.”

A) The members of a lodge in Long Beach… especially the story of Dud (Wyatt Russell) who is not a real lucky guy and he starts an association with the lodge, which changes him and the lodge.

Q) What made you want to be a part of the show?

A) I read the pilot script and thought, “This is unlike most TV shows. I really like it”

Q) Was there anything you added to the role?

A) Anything you don’t like…. I added that.

Q) Were you familiar with any of your costars before working on the show?

A) I did not know anyone personally before working with them… except Brian Doyle-Murray, and he is wonderful.

Q) You have great comedic timing. Is that something that has come naturally to you or have you had to work at it?

A) I just started doing comedy a few weeks ago, so I guess it’s beginners’ luck.

Q) You are a part of social media. Are you looking forward to the instant fan feedback you’ll receive to episodes?

A) I do like that, seeing what they respond to.

Q) What do you think it is about the series that will make it a fast fan favorite?

A) I think people will enjoy the characters. They’re flawed, they get hurt and I think you want them to do better.

Q) We’ve loved seeing you as Andrew Meyer on “Veep.” Talk about working with costar Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

A) She is great. Why? What have you heard?

Q) Andrew and Selena have a love/hate relationship. What can you tease is in store for them as a couple Season 7?

A) I do not see scripts until just before I work. So, I cannot tell you anything.

Q) What have you personally taken away from working on this show?

A) It’s a great show all around. That Jim Gavin (please do not tell him I said so) is quite talented. These scripts…this story, the world he created is really fun, interesting and wonderful. (Seriously, do not tell Jim Gavin I complimented him…. It will destroy our dynamic.)

Q) You’re a writer, director, producer and actor. What advice would you give to up and coming actors and actresses?

A) Go do stuff while you’re waiting for a job. Keep making your own stuff.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and the work that you do?

A) I’d like to say thank you for taking the time to watch because I know there is an awful lot out there, for having appreciation of it and for letting us know you like it.
