Dean Shetty (Shelley Conn) and Dr. Cardosa (Marco Pigossi) try to make sense of the mess in front of their eyes; they go back and forth imagining the number of ways that Sam (Asa Germann) managed to escape the cell he was in without no one being able to stop him. While searching for clues that might help them clarify the situation at hand, Dean Shetty finds a small shoe that she might know who it belongs to. In the meantime, Andre (Chance Perdomo), Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Jordan (London Thor) / (Derek Luh) and Cate (Maddie Phillips) are doing their own investigating, following the signal on Emma’s (Lizze Broadway) tracker that has led them to an isolated spot that by the looks of it it appears as though a meteor has fallen there. Driven by the desperation and concern that Emma’s disappearance has caused, the four of them start an argument, blaming one another for what happened that ends with Cate and Jordan leaving.

Meanwhile, Sam has taken Emma to an old drive-in movie place, where he used to go with his brother and where he has been waiting patiently for the girl to wake up. While still in her small form, the girl manages to come back to her senses feeling awful about having killed The Woods’ guard (Christopher Di Meo) but Sam tries to comfort her by saying that he wasn’t exactly a good person so she should not feel sorry about what she did. The two of them continue discussing recent events and what’s next for them; Sam wants to go out and find Luke which makes Emma to come clean to him saying what truly happened to his brother. As expected, Sam does not react well before the news and begins to kick and throw things all over the place until he is left curled up in the floor sobbing over his brother’s passing. This causes Emma to be the one to comfort him this time. The girl promises that she won’t leave him alone and that now she is there for him, too. It appears that the two of them have found some comfort that makes them gravitate towards each other. Emma finds some snacks to help her grow back to her regular size surprising Sam. They share a heartfelt conversation about the stage they are at in their lives that changes the mood of the environment, something that makes Sam nervous. He decides to go in search of some snacks for him. While he is rummaging through the old, dusty boxes he begins to hear some distant voices and music that he tries to shut down frenetically but with no success. Soon after he starts having hallucinations about Jason Ritter (Himself) and a talking puppet that ask him to go find Dr. Cardosa and kill him for what he did to him. Sam continues screaming at them to leave him alone until Emma shows up trying to calm him down. Unfortunately, he ends up running away in search of his target.

As though everything that has happened wasn’t bad enough, Tek Knight (Derek Wilson), a ruthless “God U” alumni who is well-known for his peculiar methods of seeking the truth and his super power on reading body language, has arrived to campus trying to figure out the mystery behind Luke’s suicide. He meets with Dean Shetty which creates a quite uncomfortable environment while he explains the way he plans to solve the enigma surrounding the University these days. The woman remains successfully stoic before his snarky suspicions until he requests all he would need in order to do his work, including full access to talk to Sam. At this, Dean Shetty shows a slight gesture of hesitation that does not go unnoticed by Tek, but he decides not to mention anything about it.

An evidently devastated Andre visits Cate at her dorm and confesses that his father (Sean Patrick Thomas) knew everything about The Woods and it is bothered and disappointed to even imagine that the man he used to look up to is far from being the hero he thought. Marie is still very concerned about Emma, so out of desperation she asks for Rufus’ (Alexander Calvert) help, a supe with psychic powers that agrees to make use of his abilities to help her locate her roommate’s whereabouts. He pretends to need her to sit next to him to gain a greater psychic connection; however, he takes Marie to his dorm where he tries to take advantage of her. Fortunately for Marie, Jordan shows up and this gives Marie the chance to use her powers to hurt Rufus and escape from his room. On the way out Jordan scolds her for acting impulsively but the other girl is not in the mood for any preaching. Things are escalating quickly at God U and Tek’s presence does not make anything any easier for anyone. Regardless, now is time to interview Andre and his father Polarity and as it was expected,Tek does not start the conversation smoothly. He confronts Andre about the reasons why his friend committed suicide and, even though the young guy tried to remain calm, Tek manages to get to his nerves accusing him of having slept with Cate and presuming that maybe that was the reason of Luke’s radical decision. Andre, who has been at the edge quite a while now, finally loses his temper insults Tek and his father as well then leaves the place in a rage.

Everything seems to be working normally until Dean Shetty decides to invite Tek to his class to give the students a lecture about his method, which he uses as an opportunity to interrogate Marie. The man knows his game well so he corners the young girl to the point where she ends up confessing that she was not the one who fought Luke but Jordan and feels so embarrassed to have lied to everyone that she bolts out of the room. When the class is over, Tek informs Dean Shetty that he has made up his mind and instead of going after the students to clarify Luke’s death, he will blame the whole situation on her. Also, to make matters worse, he admits that he already knows that Sam has escaped and he assumes that this will make things easier for his case. Male Jordan and Marie talk about the way things turned out at Dean Shetty’s class and although Jordan appreciates that the truth has been spoken, they didn’t want Marie to end up hurt in the process. The conversation takes a different turn when the two of them end up kissing each other but are interrupted by Emma who is shocked by the scene before her. Once they recover from the situation, the girl explains what Sam is about to do and asks for their help to stop him.

Dean Shetty asks for a meeting with Tek in the middle of nowhere. The man believes that she’s so afraid to be exposed that will do anything to keep her job and he is not wrong except that her methods are not so different from his. Tek thinks he has the upper hand until she shows him a footage where his “dirty little secret” is revealed and threatens him with posting the video if he continues with his plan of throwing her to the lions. So, the man is left with no choice but to quit his investigation and to lie about what he found saying Luke’s death was nothing more than a suicide.

In the meantime, things are getting difficult at Cardosa’s household as the doctor returns home from work happy to see his family but only to find his little daughter (Gia Ariganello) and husband (David Rowan) being threatened by Sam. He tries to talk him out of it but to no avail. The young man is so disturbed by the voices in his head that he won’t listen to anyone. Therefore, when he is about to hurt Dr. Cardosa, Andre and the others arrive just in time to stop him from getting any closer to the man. One by one try to fight him but no one can stop him. However, Emma comes up with an idea and starts to eat desperately until she achieves to becomes exceptionally large. She has grown so big that she can bring Sam down to the floor and hold him there until he can calm down. Marie tells him that they will help him but before she can finish her sentence everything fades to black and then she suddenly finds herself waking up half naked in a bed and next to female Jordan.
