Q) How would you describe your sound?

A)  Hmm, I think more warm tone and more original sounding.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Oh many! Elvis, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Bee Gees, Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Aerosmith, Queen, Ronnie James, Dio, Ozzy, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Tool, Alterbridge and the list goes. [laughs]

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Reminiscing.”

A) It was kinda me looking back at the past but going forward to the future.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think the great acoustic rhythm and slap acoustic, the feel and video, chords I’m playing along with the melody then the leads (vocal leads I call them) and the outro solo is amazing. I think people connect to it because it’s really a great song and full of emotion and makes you go into a dream.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) Kinda like you thinking of past things, but looking over the horizon for future endeavors, the ocean, stream, woods and trees.

Q) What is your song writing process?

A) It depends. Sometimes I can’t stop writing, like non-stop. Other times not so much. But my best stuff I come up with is when I step away from the guitar for a couple of weeks and then come back.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) Oh, a lot, very much.

Q) What are some themes you explore on your new EP Cosmic Wave

A) I opened up to places I never went to in anything I released, like jazzy fusion, scales and modes – more bluesy playing, acoustic slap.

Q) What tracks on the EP hold a special place in your heart and what makes them so cherished?

A) Hmm. That’s tough. I think the first two do.

Q) Will there be a tour to promote Cosmic Wave or just livestreams for the time being?

A) I’m being offered that, tours, but I will see. But, yes, I’m going to be doing a live internet show this year.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) Hmm. I liked playing two places in NH. It was fun.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Honestly, I’m not sure. [laughs]

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Many from Metallica to Dio, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin and so many

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Yes, it’s my whole thing. Social Media, it’s hugely important

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you so much for promoting me. I really appreciate it 🙂  GIA. xoxoxo
