Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would describe my sound as mixed and unique. One song can be country and another song can be rock! It all depends.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) My musical influences are a lot of 70s, 80s, and today’s artists! Billy Joel, Bobbie Gentry, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift are just a few of the many!

Q) Talk about the themes you explore on your self-titled debut album.

A) The theme I really explored was a rock and punk country feel. It is really different, and I am so glad I got the opportunity to experiment with genres one wouldn’t necessarily think would fit together.

Q) You are a part of social media. What songs have you been receiving positive response to from the fans?

A) On social media, a lot of people like the song I wrote called “Fool School” because they say they can relate to the story. That my songs can help people is the best thing, and I am so happy to be able to share my music!

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) My songwriting process changes every time. Sometimes I write the lyrics first or I could come up with an idea or the melody first; it all really depends.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I have a lot of hand in the production, meaning I always say what instruments I want on the tracks, more reverb/less or how high or low the vocal volume is. My producer, Jason Ringelstetter, is incredible and he has really done so much.

Q) What songs off your album are you looking forward to performing live?

A) I am so excited to perform “Hit and Run” live because it is a crazier song and I know it has a lot of energy which will make the performance a lot more fun!

Q) What do you hope listeners take away from listening to this album as a whole?

A) I really hope that listeners can learn from the “moral of the story” present in these songs. I have always been inspired by life-lesson stories and I really hope that I can do the same with my music.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) After the 2020 pandemic, I have been taking a love for performing on Live Streams especially. I love being able to talk to people all over the world and play my music for them. Sometimes I will stream as late as 4am! I would love to perform in Wyoming as well, since there is a lot of country there, and it would inspire me with my writing as well.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I would love to collaborate with my friend songwriter-singer Peyton Shay. It would be super fun to work with her!

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Currently I am listening to Taylor Swift’s album Fearless! I love all of the songs and they really bring me back to my childhood where I first heard her music. I love her songs because they tell lots of stories.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media has been the main way I have connected with my listeners. I love to be able to talk to my listeners and hear their opinions on my music. We always have the best time on my live streams, especially when I perform my song “Hit and Run!”

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I want to thank you for believing in me. I want to thank you for listening to my music and choosing my songs to help you through those rough days. I am completely honored, and I always hope my music can help you in any way.
