Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) Alternative pop/rock

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Chris Cornell

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Nuclear.”

A) It came from a dark place where my relationship with someone was going through a bad phase. We were both turning into people we didn’t like, so that was reflected in the song. Sometimes you feel like you’re going crazy! So, writing about it is therapy!

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I think it’s the POWER of the song that fans like. It’s very in your face and when you listen to it you want to punch a hole through the wall!

Q) How did you come to work with Ben Hunter on the track?

A) With the direction in which the track was going, I felt like it needed a rapper. So, I scrolled through Instagram and found Ben! We chatted for a bit and next thing were both in Metropolis studios together!

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) The director had the idea of having myself and Ben in our own boxes on the shoot. This played into the message of the song really well because it really spoke the truth of two people being stuck in their own ways.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) It differs from song to song to be honest! Sometimes I’ll just have a topline in my head. Then, I create the rest around it

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I can actually verbalize what I’m after and then I team up with a producer and let them produce it! At the minute I’m working on a new track with Quentin Roelandt and David Gnozzi! (mixbus tv).

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) EP for sure!

Q) Your cover of “Midnight Sky” blew up! How did that make you feel?

A) I was so grateful that people enjoyed it. We put so much love into that, so to see people really enjoying is a great feeling

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Oooh tough! Maybe Yungblud or Machine Gun Kelly? I love the American pop rock stuff and Yungblud’s music always cheers me up

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I really like Neptune Rain and Siamese. I discovered them both on Alyx Plays Punk Radio. Alyx honestly plays the best underground music!

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) With the pandemic it’s been more important than ever. Some people live on their own and have had to isolate, so music and social media has sometimes been their only way of communicating or having some kind of joy. If I can bring dome light to even ONE person, then I’m happy.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Thank you for being loyal. You’re gonna love the new stuff!
