Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) I would describe my sound as melodic and heartfelt.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) Some of my musical influences are Justin Bieber, Juice WRLD, The Kid Laroi, Blink-182 and Iann Dior.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) When I make a song, I usually start off with a chord progression or some sort of melody. That is enough to get me inspired and ready to record. Then, I come up with the first line of the song and, based off that first line, I start punching in or writing the rest of the lyrics. Once I’m done recording the vocals, I’ll go back in and add different production elements like drums, adlibs etc. Then, I’ll mix the song to the best of my abilities and send it to my mixer, Phil, who does the final mix that listeners hear on all platforms!

Q) What are some themes you explore on your new EP Social Isolation?

A) Some different themes that I explore on Social Isolation include being in love and not being able to visit the person you’re in love with, finding the silver lining of a bad situation, being independent and staying true to your authentic self and trying to resist wanting to be with someone that isn’t good for you.

Q) How did being in a pandemic inspire you to create this EP?

A) I titled this EP Social Isolation because all of the songs on it were made during quarantine or this social isolation period. Producing and writing the songs was very therapeutic. I felt that I was using my forced downtime to create something very meaningful.

Q) There are just four songs on the EP. What made these songs so special to you?

A) These songs are really special and personal to me because they were all made during quarantine and they are about feelings and different things that I experienced during that time. I was very fortunate to have music as an outlet for all the emotions of being so isolated from friends and family.

Q) How much of a hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I have 100% control in the production of my music! Since I write, record and produce my own songs, I have complete control and creative freedom. I am really enjoying all aspects of creating my music. In acting, often times I am directed to do a particular thing, either by the director or the script.  In my music, I have unfettered control to follow my own instincts and feelings.

Q) What do you hope listeners take away from checking out Social Isolation?

A) I hope they are inspired to express themselves and their feelings through art. I also hope that they realize that it is okay to talk about your feelings.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I would most like to collaborate with The Kid Laroi. I feel like our voices would work great on the same song. He is so talented, and I have a lot of respect for him as an artist.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I am currently listening to Neon Shark vs. Pegasus by Trippie Redd. I love this album so much because it shows Trippie Redd’s versatility as an artist and versatility is something I strive for.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) I love interacting with my supporters! Social media has been a great tool for me to connect with people and I always enjoy talking to them. I try to make it a point to reply to all comments on my posts whenever time permits.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) To everyone that supports me, thank you so much!! You guys mean the world to me and I couldn’t do this without you!
