Q) It was touched on a bit during the show, but what got you into yachting?

A) I had worked in service from some major royal families and influential people. My contract with the finished and I went back home, My friend (that was already in yachting) told me to get out to Fort Lauderdale and get on a yacht because I would love it and have never looked back since

Q) What made you want to be a part of “Below Deck?”

A) I just think it’s a great show and it’s a great platform to show everyone around the world what yachting is like and where we get to travel and I wanted to be a part of that.

Q) Had you been a fan of the show or familiar with it before joining the cast this year?

A) I had never seen an episode before saying yes to the show. I watched one episode at the airport while waiting for my flight to go to Tahiti and by that time it was too late to change my mind, so it’s a good thing I didn’t want to!

Q) We have loved seeing you and Kate Chastain become fast friends and you work so well together. What was it about her that quickly connected you two?

A) I think with Kate and I, we have so much in common that just made us click. We love to let our hair down and have a good time and we are interested in the same things. At the same time, we have both worked in yachting long enough to know what needs to be done which I think just makes our working relationship blossom.

Q) We saw Chandler have some communication troubles with the crew. Where do you think the issue stemmed from?

A) I have worked on deck before and you need some structure and a good game plan, it’s the same as the interior and in most team jobs. I think Chandler may be used to private yachts that are a bit more laid back as the guests are the same each time they come on board. I think Ross [Inia] stepped up and did an amazing job of the deck team.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming “Below Deck?”

A) There was so many. One of the most memorable and not in a good way was Ashton [Pienaar] getting the line wrapped around his foot. It was the scariest moment in my yachting career. That’s something that you train for but should never happen. On a better note, all the times Kate and I were in our cabin getting ready for our nights out or just hanging around was just the most fun. And just generally getting to know all the crew and having an amazing season with them.

Q) Who have you stayed in contact with and become friendly with from the show?

A) Kate and I talk most weeks and still get along very well. I also speak to Laura [Betancourt], Adrian [Martin], Ross, Ashton, Rhylee [Gerber] and Tyler [Rowland].

Q) We would love to see you back for a second season. Any interest?

A) I would love to go back for another season if they should ask me. I had so much fun travelling around Tahiti and meeting/working with all the crew.

Q) You are a part of social media. Have you been enjoying the instant fan feedback you have been receiving to episodes?

A) I have loved it, I love hearing what fans think of the show and what they think is going to happen in the next episodes. It’s been great to see where in the world people watch the show and what kind of people watch it.

Q) What do you want to be sure fans know about you and your time on “Below Deck?”

A) I want to the fans to enjoy the show and enjoy me as a person on the show. I had so much fun filming it in Tahiti on a beautiful boat and got to meet some amazing people along the way.
