Q) It was touched on a bit during the show, but how did you get your start working on yachts?

A) After interning at Michelin Star restaurants and being a head chef in France I wanted something new. I was referred to go into yachting. I did all the necessary measures to get in and guess what I’m still here today.

Q) What made you want to be a part of “Below Deck Sailing Yacht?”

A) I know if I had to do “Below Deck” It would have been “Below Deck Sailing Yacht.” Working prior on sailing yacht, I think choosing this will only be fair since I worked on sailing yachts before.

Q) Had you been a fan of the show or familiar with it before joining the cast this year?

A) I was aware of the dynamics of the show, seen occasionally on television but to say that I followed every season, I didn’t.

Q) Were there though any certain parts of your life you deemed off limits to the camera?

A) Not necessarily. I wanted to always present my authentic self and I wanted everyone to see who Natasha really is. I think society needs this. We are not living in a place of perfection and social media always portrays it differently. So, I wanted to be just me.

Q) We loved your honesty about your past and the issues you faced with your marriage. What made you feel comfortable enough to share your story?

A) As said before, we live in world full of unrealistic expectations and wanted to share my story so other women would be able to relate. Also, I want them to know that we as women are a force to be reckoned with and you have to love yourself regardless of your imperfections!

Q) We saw you and Daisy [Kelliher] butt heads in the second episode. How important is communication when it comes to the relationship between Chief Stew and Chef?

A) Miscommunication is inevitable. It’s inevitable because of us, not only Chef and Chief stew, but also because of our different personalities. When in any stressful environment this will occur, understanding oneself is important and vital in learning how to deal with it in similar situations.

The relationship between the Chief Stew and Chef is arguably the most important relationship on the boat because we are dealing directly with guest needs and wants. We don’t need to be best friends, but we need to have open communication always.

Q) There was a lot of controversy about Gary [King] spending time with all of the stews. Did he have genuine feelings for any of them?

A) I think this is a question that we will have to address with Gary. Stay tuned to the show to see my opinion about the different scenarios that evolved.

Q) Talk about working with Captain Glenn [Shephard].

A) Great leader, intelligent and an amazing human being.

Q) Who have you stayed in contact with and become friendly with from the show?

A) Actually, I speak to Dani [Soares], Alli [Dore] and Syd [Zaruba] a couple of times of the week. They are my girls and I love them dearly. Each of them is different, but wonderful humans in their own way. Mess with them and I will defend them fiercely. I have formed some great friendships with the charter guests also.

Q) What were some of your most memorable moments from filming “Below Deck Sailing Yacht?”

A) My friendships and understanding some of the crew I work within a personal dynamic. Singing with Alli in the galley or constantly laughing at everything is what kept us afloat. Having Dani as my roomie was amazing as well and obviously working with Captain Glenn.

Q) You are a part of social media. Have you been enjoying the instant fan feedback you have been receiving to episodes?

A) I’m still trying to come to terms with this new reality. Trying to have the right balance is important for me, but I’m grateful for the people that choose to support me in this journey.

Q) What do you want to be sure fans know about you and your time on “Below Deck Sailing Yacht?”

A) Honesty!!! This was an experience and experiment that I went into now knowing what to expect. It was a great experience, don’t get me wrong. But looking at yourself from the background is pretty interesting.
