Q) What can you tease about your character’s arc this season on “The Flash?”

A) We last left Allegra as her relationship with Nash (Tom Cavanagh) seemed to be getting better. You can expect to see them in more scenes together as they begin to learn to work better together. Also, she will continue to work for Iris (Candice Patton) at The Citizen and help Team Flash as well. I’m excited for everyone to get to see Allegra take on more responsibilities.

Q) How will the team work to get Iris out of the Mirrorverse and what role will Allegra play in doing so?

A) I think some people may be surprised with the ways that Team Flash works to save Iris. Allegra is there every step of the way and all the excitement and drama is definitely not going to disappoint the fans.

Q) When Iris and Kamilla finally get out of the Mirrorverse, what will the atmosphere be like between her, Allegra, and Kamilla at The Citizen?

A) As you can imagine going through something as traumatic as being stuck in the Mirrorverse will definitely play a role in the character’s lives moving forward. What I love about Team Citizen though is how much support and friendship there is between them. I think what the writers have done such a great job of creating a team of women who really lift each other up. You’ll definitely be able to see what I mean when Iris escaped the Mirrorverse.

Q) Will we get to see more of Allegra being mentored by Iris?

A) Yes, absolutely. My scenes with Candice are some of my favorites and I love the way mentorship is portrayed on our show.

Q) Allegra and Nash’s relationship is still very rocky. Will that relationship move forward in a more positive way?

A) Yeah, like I mentioned before, Allegra and Nash’s relationship just started to show the beginning signs of amiability and you can certainly look forward to even more of a heart wrenching journey between the two.

Q) Allegra still has a lot of demons that she never fully got to process from her past. How will we see her working through those?

A) We’re still in the process of filming Season 7, but I’m hopeful that you will be able to see Allegra deal with her past and her demons in a way that sheds light on exactly why she is who she is. It’s been my favorite part of playing Allegra – exploring how her past and her traumas inform her current reality especially as she’s thrust into a hero’s journey alongside Team Flash.

Q) Allegra and Esperanza are still fighting on opposite sides. What more can we expect to see of the cousins’ interactions?

A) Allegra and Esperanza (Alexa Barajas) have had very different experiences for the past five years, which has led them down very different paths. And I know it’s my hope that we see them come together at some point and potentially fight on the same side, but in order to get there we’d need to see a lot of change and a lot of forgiveness. It’d be nice to see that happen and for the two to have a clean slate with one another. You’ll have to watch as see if it plays out that way though.

Q) Nash gave Allegra a stone at the end of Season 6. How will that come into play for her again in Season 7?

A) In the last episode we learned that the stone cause one to relive their worst experiences. It came in handy and also seems to be very symbolic. I think we can expect it to play a role in the future as it was so important to Nash and so useful against Allegra’s enemy.

Q) How will The Citizen be involved with reporting on the big bads of the season?

A) It’s Team Citizen’s job to report on all the happenings around Central City. We wouldn’t be doing our job if we weren’t bringing the latest on all the big bads and everything else worth note around town.

Q) What kind of growth would you like to see for Allegra coming out of Season 7? 

A) I would like to see Allegra embrace being a part of a family and step more into her roles on both Team Citizen and Team Flash. I want to see her learn more about her powers and eventually be able to control them at their full potential. And, of course, I’d love to see her work things out with all the people estranged in her life including her cousin Esperanza.

Q) Which episode are you most excited for fans to see?

A) I think I’m just so excited for the show to be back on. So, I’m super stoked for everyone to watch the first episode. It’s extra special for me too as it’s the first time I’m officially a series regular on the show.

Q) What other projects are you working on that you would like to mention?

A) We are smack dab in the middle of filming Season 7, so I’m hard at work on this but I’m always working on my own passion projects. I’m a writer and hope to direct one day as well, so I’m always prepping for that.

A) Thank you so much! Ya’ll’s support means the world and makes the show as wonderful as it is! I hope you love Season 7. We’ve been working really hard on it.
