Q) Tell us the story behind your recent single “Porcelain Queen.”

A) “Porcelain Queen” is a song I wrote to bring attention to mental health awareness. It is a song about how you can have this traumatic event happen. It can break you. Maybe you can never even be put back together in the same way. But, in the end, it can make you a stronger person. It is a performance driven song with a fun K-pop vibe.

Q) What made “Porcelain Queen” the perfect follow up to your song “Picture Perfect Love?”

A) The two songs are really unrelated and written at different times. “Picture Perfect Love” was a song I wrote about a breakup. It was a song about how you can think you have this picture-perfect relationship and then you break up and how hard it can be to watch someone you love move on in life with other people. I think it is a song a lot of people can relate to. And “Porcelain Queen” was a song I wanted to write about my own personal experience. I was bullied and harassed as a young child by members of my community for wanting to be a pop star and pursuing this profession. I went through some very traumatic experiences, and it did break me. I was not able to be put back together in quite the same way. Like a porcelain doll, I was shattered. But as you heal from these experiences, you can let them defeat you or you can use them to become a stronger person. I am a much stronger person because of them. I try to use my platform now as an advocate for anti-bullying.

Q) What kind of fan response have you been receiving to the song?

A) I have gotten a lot of great responses to both songs. I think both of them are relatable to other people. I always enjoy when a fan messages me and says that one of my songs made an impact on them. I did get quite a few messages from fans, especially about “Picture Perfect Love.” So many of us have been through hard break-ups.

Q) How have fans been connecting to it and the message behind it?

A) Yes, I believe they have and that is always rewarding to me as an artist.

Q) With the release of these two singles will there be an EP or a full-length album coming in the near future?

A) I think at some point there will definitely be an album. Right now, I am just focused on writing and recording singles. I am in the studio often and making a lot of music right now. I found producers that I really vibe with and that is so fun.

Q) Are there any plans in the work for a tour soon or are you more focused on livestreams for the time being?

A) I would love to tour if the opportunity presents itself. Going on a world tour has always been my biggest dream!

Q) We love your YouTube channel! What have been some of your personal favorites to film?

A) I do YouTube for fun. It is a way to share my life and my personality with fans. I tend to make videos that center around fashion, beauty and music because those are all things that I enjoy. I really love fashion a lot. My mother was a fashion model and had my siblings and I modeling from a young age. So, I grew up just really appreciating the fashion industry and working with many creative people. It is a part of me.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of you and your music?

A) Thank you so much for all of your love and support. I would not be here without you. You can expect a lot of exciting things coming up in the near future and I hope to always have your support!
