Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) My music has a trap pop feel that ties in closely with my style as a dancer.

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) There are many influences, but if I were to pick one I would say Justin Bieber. He has such a strong work ethic that most people don’t see or appreciate. Starting his career at such a young age the pressure and the hard work he put into every performance on tour is a work ethic you can appreciate. The countless hours in the studio, choreography, rehearsals, and time away from home. It’s something to admire and compare myself to at this stage in my life.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Medicine.”

A) We tried to tell a story that really expresses the emotion behind the song. The meaning is based off that special someone that just doesn’t let you in, or even share how they feel. You really feel closed off and if they would just open up you could help them.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) I’m sure the message will resonate with a lot of teenagers today. Communication is difficult when it comes to your feelings and it’s hard to know what someone is feeling if they don’t open up or let you in.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) To tell the story we really had to get creative during COVID, so we had to think of outdoor places to film but use locations that also seemed isolated. If that special someone that just doesn’t let you in or even share how they feel, we wanted to make it appear she was closed off from everyone. So, Jeff-X Visuals used his creative team with resources available to tell the story starring teen model Bella Fenoglio in the woods and under water. The underwater scene in this video was actually inspired by Bella and her experience in underwater photography. Bella Fenoglio brought so much talent and professionalism on set which makes the video. Award winning filmmaker and producer Jeffery Watson brought his creatively and talent in special effects to create the emotion behind the story. Working with what we had and filming during COVID the team did a great job telling the story through emotions and visual effect it’s really something to see.

Q) What is your song writing process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) Creating the beats with UK producer Zak Lloyd comes first and once we get the mood and style we like it’s then the writing process begins. All concepts come from my personal experiences and my amazing team and cowriter Mary Simmons work together to put what I’m feeling into the lyrics.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) My music team is amazing they work with me weekly in person or lately on Zoom and we constantly create. Being a huge part of my music is important and they make sure we create and work together through the whole process I appreciate them more than they know!

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) So, this is my second EP Going Under. We are just releasing the singles off of it to get more traction with each song. “Medicine” is the first release from the EP and “Rewind” released this April, so I’m excited to get them all out quickly.

Q) With concerts currently on hold, what do you miss most about being on stage?

A) Performing on Zoom or online is great and nice to still have the opportunity to perform but being on that stage and hearing the crowd is amazing. Feeling the emotion coming from the crowd is a great and it’s something I miss a lot.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Not sure. I haven’t thought about it I kind of like being an exclusive artist but would be open to the idea.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Right now it’s Joji and Ed Sheeran really enjoying the vibe

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media is a great platform to share everything and really connect with my fans. Hope to inspire them and use it as a way for them to reach out.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) Just want to say thank you to all my fans for all your support it means the world. You guys really keep me motivated to make new music and continue what I love really appreciate you guys!
