Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) futuristic pop sound

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) One of my inspirations is Michael Jackson and I also love Iggy Azalea. Although, my two brothers inspire me too as they are both in the industry.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “The Game.”

A) It’s basically about the game of life. We all have to play the game of life.

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) The game is very hooky and catchy, and I think it’s a fun upbeat song that can connect with fans and make them feel happy and dancey when listening to it.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) The video is a pop vibe and incorporates dancers to convey the message. It’s a narrative from my point of view as it’s heavily lead by me.

Q) What is your songwriting process? Do you need music before you can create lyrics?

A) When Darren and I wrote the game, we came up with a basic beat (production) and we then wrote the melody then the lyrics just flowed out with the melody.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I was with Darren when he was producing and we both agreed on certain sounds and production vibes.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) You will have to wait and see, but very highly likely as I have some very catchy songs that I have written.

Q) With concerts currently on hold, what do you miss most about being on stage?

A) I miss performing live so much. I just miss the buzz of being on stage and actually singing live to real life people.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) My favorite place I have ever performed was at the Eufa fan zone in Paris Under the Eiffel Tower with Will.i.Am. It was one of my fav performances and will live in my mind forever. I cannot describe how I felt in that moment. It was surreal.

Q) We loved you on “The Voice UK.” What did you learn or take away from your experience on the series?

A) Awww, thank you! That’s so sweet. It was an amazing experience and I loved every minute of it. I made some amazing friends and went on to have a lovely career and toured with Will.i.Am and The Black Eyed Peas.

I learnt it’s so important to be yourself and express what you want as an artist, but overall the best life experience.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) I would love to collab with Clean Bandit. Their tracks are always on point and I love every single one of their tracks when they release them. Always so hooky and catchy!

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) I love Little Mix. I think they are a pop sensation and always have great songs! They also know how to put on a great performance. I also love Zara Larsson for the same reasons.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) Social media is sooo difficult, as if you don’t update it enough you lose followers. So, for me I always post about everything I can on there, including everyday life as it’s important to actually let the fans know what you’re up to day to day, especially through this lockdown. Keeping people active and entertained is important. I have tried to do a few live shows on my Instagram and other socials, too.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) I’d like to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You don’t know what it means to me and I am so grateful for all the opportunities shown to me and that I have been given and it’s all thanks to my supporters. I couldn’t do it without them, and I am eternally grateful and love each and every one of them.
