Q) What first got you into music?

A) I actually started writing my own songs when I was eleven years old. Throughout high school, I did a lot of vocal lessons with my then vocal coach, Lisa Spangler. After graduating high school, I wrote some songs with my producer, Ryan Emond, and from there, I just developed the love for making my own music and delivering to my fans.

Q) Your song “Not for Me” is full of such universal lyrics about a love lost. What was the process like for writing the song?

A) “Not for Me” is one of the first emotional songs that I’ve ever released. “Not for Me” is meant to connect with listeners’ inner emotions. Many people in the world are enduring mental and/or emotional pain due to a significant other. This song is about the realization that sometimes someone who you believed was the one turns out not to be. I feel that “Not For Me” has helped me develop into who I am and what I want my sound to be. I’m an emotional person and love to show that through song.

Q) What do you hope people take away from “Not for Me?”

A) I really hope that people can really feel a connection to the song. Many people are going through the same thing. I hope people are able to express their emotions while singing my song.

Q) Do you have a full album or EP in the works?

A) I cannot officially say anything yet but expect a big project in 2022.

Q) How does your creative process go? Do you need music first or do you write the lyrics first?

A) I typically have the music first and then write to it. Though, I spend a lot of time reflecting and getting in touch with my emotions and often will get some lyrics in my head before I hear the music.

Q) What has been the best performance of your career so far?

A) Definitely some of my performances in Fort Lauderdale, FL! I love that city and the fans there!

Q) Talk about your time working with Grammy nominee Vinny DeLeon.

A) Vinny is simply one of the best in the game, hence his Grammy nomination. It’s been an honor to work with him and we have more songs on the way!

Q) What advice would you give to up and coming music artists?

A) Don’t trust everyone in the industry. There are a lot of people in the industry that do not care about you and only care about making a buck. I’ve been burnt by some people already in my career, and I think it’s very important to know.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who are fans and supporters of you and your music?

A) I appreciate each and every one of you! Without you guys, none of this is possible. Stick with me! More new music on the way!
