Kenton Place only started playing music a few years ago, and yet, they’ve had a lot of achievements already. In 2018, they performed on the biggest venues, including co-headlining White Oak Music Hall and SXSW Creative Industries Expo. “Pride Never Lasts” is one of the tracks from their March five-track EP “Terminal.” In 2019, “Pride Never Lasts” was first featured on 94.5 The Buzz for nearly a month as the Texas buzz feature. The new version of “Pride Never Lasts” links into the EP as acceptance of loss. This three-and-a-half minute production features Grammy-winning producer Ulrich Wild and Grammy-winning mastering engineer Ted Jensen. Kenton Place never fails to exude confidence, emotions, and genuine passion. With the EP release, they continue to build their fan base and prove that they are one of the brightest lights in the music scene.

Kenton Place is a Houston, Texas-based band comprised of childhood friends Logan Smalley (Smalls), Noe Hernandez (Fez), Roque Techera (Rock, the hero), and Curtis Bird (Mr. Bird). They picked the moniker Kenton Place as an homage to the neighborhood in which they grew up and as a means to honor their heritage. Kenton Place is known for bringing tightly-packed songs with meaningful messages, incorporating a range of melodies establishing the band’s individuality. Although the band pays homage to some of rock music’s most iconic sounds and artists, they indeed fill their performances with originality and unparalleled inventiveness.

See them live on May 29 at Acadia Bar & Grill in Cypress Creek Pkwy, Houston, and on June 23 with Canadian alternative rock band 13 Friday’s.

“Pride Never Lasts” is now available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify. Visit Kenton Place’s website and Instagram for updates on upcoming shows.
