Q.  What are some of the current projects that you are working?

A.  Currently I am producing theater projects so I am about to produce a one act play that I am actually going to produce and direct, for the first time.  I haven’t chosen what piece yet, but we just made the decision last night and for film and TV I’ve just had a lot of auditions and callbacks so I am waiting to hear on a couple of things.

Q.  Can you tell us about the movie Insecticidal and your role as Josi?

A.  Insecticidal is a horror film and Josi is a more elite, sorority girl and she’s not exactly the friendliest girl but overall she doesn’t think that there’s anything wrong.  We shot it in Vancouver, it was a lot of fun and there was a lot of prosthetics, everyday my character had the toughest part, I think because she had the most dramatic physical changes happening throughout the run of the movie.  Overall, it was a lot of fun and a great movie.

Q.  What made you want to be a part of this project?

A.  I had a friend of mine that had worked with the director before and so I was curious to see what her experience was like working with him.  She really enjoyed it and she encouraged it and I thought, so “I’d like to do this too.”  The character itself I found appealing, it was something interesting and I had never done a horror movie before so that appealed to me, I wanted to do it and see what it was like.

Q.  Why should viewers take the time to check out this movie?

A.  Because it’s fun, and entertaining for all walks of life.

Q.  Do you have a most memorable moment from filming?

A.  I think the fridge scene was especially the most memorable moment, working with all the food that I had to wolf down as I become into the bug girl, that was definitely the most memorable moment.  They had to make cottage cheese and they put green food coloring in it and I had to stuff it into my mouth.

Q.  What was it like getting to work with director Jeffrey Lando?

A.  He’s got a lot of really great things to offer and I think he’s got a really great career ahead of him.  He was very easy to work with, he had a lot going on, it was a very busy set, there was a lot of stuff happening but overall I think that he’s going to do really well.

Q.  What made you want to get into acting?

A.  I wanted to be an actress my whole life, I kind of always just thought I was going to be one.  I started acting in high school and did all the drama programs right through high school.  We had our own TV show in high school and then from there I went on to theater after high school and at eighteen I decided for sure I wanted to do acting professionally, that was my mission in life.

Q.  Is there a summer movie that you really would love to see?

A.  I would like to see Cinderella Man, I think that it’s gotten really great reviews and I think the story looks good, I love serious films.

Q.  Do you have a latest obsession, are you into any particular activity, book, sport or music group?

A.  Yes, I’m in love with this band called Cherry Bomb, they’re Canadian and a girl band and they’re rad.  They’re just about to about to make it big time, they’re still one their way up, I’m also a big photographer.  I’m starting to sell some of my work in Australia, I take landscape and portrait.  I also photograph weddings and family photos and baby photos, and that whole bit.

Q.  What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?

A.  I’d like to say thanks and I hope you enjoy the film and hopefully you keep supporting!
