Q) How was your character Frederick Banner originally described to you?

A) I would describe Frederick Banner as dapper and deranged. And highly intelligent.

Q) Was there anything you added to him that wasn’t in that initial breakdown?

A) Well, the film itself is very style conscious, and Banner is the master of that style – it’s cool, formal and very arranged. I tried to bring those qualities to the character.

Q) Were you familiar with any of your costars before working with them on the film?

A) Shane West played the lead in the series “SALEM” and I played an arc as witch hunter and preacher, Increase Mather. I like Shane very much, and I like his work as well.

Of course, I have known Bruce Dean’s work forever. He is a master and a pleasure to work with.

Q) What advice did director Sonja O’Hara offer that you took to heart while filming?

A) Sonja prompted me towards a sort of breeziness with the character. She is perceptive and has the instincts of both a fine director and actor.

Q) What do you think it is about Mid-Century that is going to make it a fast fan favorite horror/thriller?

A) The film is gorgeous to look at. It moves at a good clip, has a good share of scares and is kinda sexy. There is just a lot to like in this movie.
