The episode starts with a montage of Roy (Brett Goldstein) and Keeley (Juno Temple) with their couples routine in which Roy gets a bit more intense by the minute. They pretty much do every single thing together and it is starting to affect Keeley. From home to work and now she doesn´t have alone time even for a cup of coffee alone. In the meantime we see Nathan (Nick Mohammed) while running some errands. He´s still getting caught up on compliments from the internet. We sort of learn that the person´s he´s most interested in impressing is his dad, Lloyd (Peter Landi). Unfortunately, the dad is as cold as they come. At least his mom Maria (Neelam Bakshi) is the opposite of that.

At Richmond Ted (Jason Sudeikis) is visiting Dr. Sharon (Sarah Niles) and trying to adjust to the therapy session as much as he can, but we´ve not seen him this uncomfortable and out of his element before. He finally is able to sit down in front of her and kind of starts rambling about a lot of things. She asks him not to worry, but it´s just too much for him. Dr. Sharon wants to revisit what happened the night she found him on her couch, but Ted gets up saying he doesn´t want to do this and leaves her office.

The team is training. Ted is giving a speech about not letting your opponents know you are tired and splits them between offense staying with Nate and Beard (Brendan Hunt) and defense going with him and Roy. A few players tease Nate about the wonder kid thing. Dani (Cristo Fernandez) says he hopes the coach is not too great to train them now, followed by another comment from Jamie (Phil Dunster). Nate allows them to do so; however, when Colin (Billy Harris) makes one he´s shut down immediately.

Sam (Toheeb Jimoh) is still waiting for a reply from Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) after two days of nothing since asking her to meet. A stress eating Rebecca is at the other end with Keeley saying she should answer since it´s been too long. Higgins (Jeremy Swift) advises she should tell the truth, that she would love to meet up but she´s worried that he won´t leave up to the fantasy she´s created and will let her insecurities keep her from possibly finding her one true love. Rebecca insists that things could go wrong once they do because all relationships are nightmares except for Higgins and his wife or Keeley and Roy whom are perfect. Keeley opens up that it used to be easier when they didn´t work together, but now they around each other all the time. That’s when Roy walks in asking if they were talking about him. They all admit that they were. After Roy and Keeley leave they are back at home. She´s trying to work but keeps getting distracted by him which is not helping with all the work she has to get done.

Let´s try therapy one more time. Ted walks into Dr. Sharon´s office again. She´s surprised he came back. Ted says he doesn´t quit things. As we all know this is not the first time he´s been to a therapist and it ended on divorce, so he´s skeptical which leads him to kind of lash out at her. He basically tells her that she´s only there for the money and doesn´t really care about him. He then storms out again.  Sam and Rebecca bump into each other while both on the Bantr app.

Nate is still going down the internet comments rabbit hole and can´t be bothered by Will (Charlie Hiscock) making a pen delivery. It is followed by a visit from Colin who wants a word with him about what happened earlier on the field since Dani and Jamie made comments as well but he only got mad at Colin. Nathan´s response gets very weird and out of place for a coach to make. Basically, he comes up with an elaborate cruel comment to Colin, at the edge of bullying him. Luckily Coach Beard saw the whole thing.

After Ted walks out of therapy again he heads through Richmond when he see some smoke coming out of the boots room. Keeley is there smoking and taking some space from Roy. Rebecca asks her to stop auditioning her complaints and just tell Roy what´s happening. Everyone is in the boot´s room now – Ted, Higgins, Will and even Jamie who all get interrupted by Roy again. He again asks if they were talking about him and he says they were. This issue goes back to their place where Keeley is watching “Sex & The City” while Roy is reading The Da Vinci Code but he is a way too excited about it. This leads to her eventually exploding and telling him that she needs time for herself without him there all the time. She doesn´t communicate it in the best way possible so he takes it badly. Oddly enough, he eventually gets what´s going on from Jamie of all people. He understands that Keeley needs space which he gives her.

Coach Beard eventually confronts Nathan about his conversation with Colin, asking him to be better. This leads Nathan to apologize to Colin in front of the whole team which is accepted. Once they are back at the lockers the team gives Nate a gift, a Richmond shirt with the words Wonder Kid on the back, an idea from Will. It should have said “wunderkind,” but Nathan is happy. Later Nate finds a bad comment about him online and immediately takes it out on Will. Ted walks into Dr. Sharon´s office one more time. She immediately tells him how offended she is about his previous comments on her profession and just thinks he´s scared. He apologizes and the two seem to get on with therapy.
