Fast forward two months when Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons) are gluing the molecular model together. Leonard calls it a pleasurable 139.5 hours of his time. Sheldon agrees and explains that the first time he did it the balls kept sticking to his pants and it was a rare failure.

Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) come home with their dresses for the Nobel Prize Ceremony. Penny’s had to be let out and Amy’s put in, making it the best day of her life. Sheldon thought that the best day of her life was the day they met, but she sands by her statement. Penny thinks it was generous they were all invited on an all expense paid trip to the event and Sheldon says it is a moment where they have a front row to history despite being in the second row. Amy wants to try on her dress and show Sheldon. He doesn’t want to see it, but she convinces him to let her show him while he whittles down his speech to 90 minutes.

They leave and Leonard asks Penny if Amy was suspicious. She says no because Amy was so happy. Leonard wants to tell people, and it turns out the night Penny and Sheldon went out drinking Leonard and Penny conceived their baby.

Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Howard (Simon Helberg) are getting ready for the trip, but are nervous about leaving them with Stuart (Kevin Sussman) and Denise (Lauren Lapkus). Bernadette doesn’t want Michael to say his first words without her while Howard is proud Halley used the big girl potty. The two of them cant wait to go to the hotel and sleep.

Bert (Brian Posehn) is watching Cinnamon, who wonders if it will help him meet girls. Raj (Kunal Nayyar) acts like a nervous mom and Bert wonders where to get a dog just like her just in case. He then says he will tell him if she dies.

Amy is on the couch in her dress and tiara when Sheldon practices his speech too fast. She suggests editing instead of speaking too fast because nobody will understand him. He says no one does and he needs everything in the speech. He says humility is for the literature winners and she hopes that is not in the speech.

On the day they leave Sheldon and Amy tell them what to do an expect in terms of traveling. Penny asks if they have to go and he says she should not abuse the free alcohol on the plane. She says she won’t drink and Bernie wonders if she is pregnant. She says no and that she just doesn’t drink on planes. Bernie says she saw her drink in the shower, causing Howard to wonder if they shower together.

They try to all get into the elevator with their luggage, but then toss the luggage in there and walk downstairs. On the plane, Howie and Bernie worry about the kids, although Bernie thinks they will be fine. He asks if the force is with her and she says he is not the woman he wants to annoy.

Raj comes over with a picture of Sarah Michelle Gellar and thinks she is sitting next to him. Howard says no.

Penny keeps getting up to throw up, making Sheldon wonder if she is sick and going to get everyone else sick. He thinks they will infect the King of Sweden and start a war. He goes to ask Leonard and the cat is out of the bag. He says he can’t catch that and tells Amy.

Leonard is mad Sheldon didn’t congratulate him while Amy and Bernadette ask why she didn’t say anything. Amy says she thought they didn’t want kids and Penny says it happened the night she went out with Sheldon, causing Amy to think they are sister wives. Leonard finally tells Sheldon off and Raj comes over, oblivious to everything since Sarah Michelle Gellar is indeed his seat mate.

Stuart FaceTimes Howard and Bernadette to fill them in on babysitting. Halley lost a tooth after a tumble down the stairs while Michael had a fever. Howie and Bernie freak out, making them want to contemplate going home.

Penny is eating pickled herring and saying that she expected Sheldon’s reaction. Leonard is still upset. Amy and Sheldon come to the door with Sheldon apologizing, but ruining it by calling the baby “it.” He tells Leonard to take it up with the English language.

Howard comes by to say he and Bernadette are thinking of going back to LA for the kids. Sheldon says this is his big day and Howard decides he is definitely going home with Penny and Leonard joining them.

Sheldon thinks everyone is being selfish. Amy says he broke their hearts and his behavior is hurtful. She says the only reason they all tolerate him is because they know he doesn’t know better.

Penny is sick and says she can’t go home, but because she doesn’t want to disappoint Amy. Leonard says he still wants to see Sheldon get his medal and they compare Sheldon to their first kid. Howard and Bernadette also decide to stay because her parents took over babysitting…despite Bernie’s dad cracking Stuart’s rib when hugging him.

At the ceremony,Sarah Michelle Gellar joins the gang as Raj’s non-date. Amy gives her speech to encourage young girls to go into Science. Sheldon, who was not listening, gives his own speech thanking his family and other family—his wife and friends. He makes them all stand up and thanks them while asking if Buffy The Vampire Slayer is there. He tells them he loves them and accidentally announces Penny’s pregnancy. She thanks him, but says her family doesn’t know yet. He says it’s a secret and no one tell! He says he loves them and Amy.

The episode ends with the theme song playing and everyone eating Chinese food.
