Top 3 TV Moments – April 11 – April 16

By  |

Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Rebel, “Patient X” – Taking on the hospital!

Cruz (Andy Garcia) realizing that his wife could have been saved after learning the information about the patients was very difficult to see. I liked how Rebel (Katey Sagal) gave him a chance to gather himself in order to realize what steps he needed to take next, which is to take down the people that did what they did to so many patients and make them pay.

Comedy/Reality TV: The Circle, “Lines Are Drawn” – A powerful battle that ended with a block!

Savannah Palacio and Terilisha coming off of a week of being in the top two spots ended up being in the last two by the time ratings came around. Seeing that one of them was going to get blocked was hard to watch because I felt they were the strongest women in the game with good social skills to help them go to the end. However, their power and pettiness got the best of them and ended up making them bigger targets to all the other players. I was sad to see Savannah go and I wished they could have resolved their issues before she left and realized where they both went wrong.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: The Nevers, “Pilot” – Maladie has arrived!

Amalia True (Laura Donnelly), Penance Adair (Ann Skelly) and Amy Manson’s portrayal of Maladie were performances that made me stop and completely pay attention to this thrilling show. Seeing Maladie on stage wielding a knife around and threatening the audience in search of the “angel” was suspenseful to watch. This show looks like it’s going to have a lot of elements to spark intrigue, so I’ll definitely be back to watch more.
