Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Greenleaf, “The Seventh Day” – In his final moments, he asks for repentance.

Bishop (Keith David) tells the story of one of his greatest sins and how his wrongdoings built him up but continue to burden him. He finally told the story he’d been holding onto and, in turn, was brought closer to his family and some of the congregation. It was a well-acted moment that impacted the audience drawing it together with those final heartbreaking moments of the episode.

Comedy/Reality TV: Corporate, “The Importance of Talking S**t” – Unlikely friends

Grace (Aparna Nancherla) accidentally sends an email meant for Kate (Anne Dudek) to Christian (Lance Reddick). When she meets with Christian to discuss it, things go a lot better than she anticipated they would and they actually developed a friendship where they could talk s**t like she did with Kate. That moment was so fun to watch because everyone knows what it’s like to be scared you send the wrong message to the wrong person. In Grace’s case, it turned out fine. Also, work friendships always start over the most random situations and this was definitely one of those times.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: The Rain, “Don’t Give Up” – Remember me.

Rasmus (Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen) fails in his efforts to stop Simone (Alba August) from jumping from the bridge in a devastating moment. As “Remember Me in Every Cloud of God” by Kwamie and Angelo plays, we see how this moment affects different characters in different ways. It’s a hard scene to watch, but it makes you wonder where will the rest of Season 3 go from here. It was a great season opener and left a lot of build-up and suspense for what is to come next.
