Top 3 TV Moments – December 27 – January 1

Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Lovestruck In the City, “What Did She Do With The Ring” – Two reasons.

We’re finally starting to learn a little bit more about how Jae-won (Ji Chang-Wook) and Seon-a/Eun-oh (Kim Ji-Won) got separated, but the reason for Seon-a ghosting Jae-won is still very unclear. The final moments gave us some insight as to why she decided not to meet back up with him in Seoul. She says that after they had a conversation if he would still like her if she wasn’t the same he said, “Then that wouldn’t be Seon-a.” Because that’s not her real name or personality, apparently, she didn’t think they would be able to work. The story still has a lot of grey areas and the slow build up with this love story seems to be soon approaching an angsty and heavy meet.

Comedy/Reality TV: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team, “Upstaged” – The one who was given too many chances.

Watching Meredith for the last two years try to make it onto the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading Team has been one of the most frustrating things to see. For one, I never believed she fully deserved the spot on the team last season. However, it is interesting to see the coaches act as if she has tremendously improved during her time on the team when she is clearly still making the same mistakes. I hope that if she decides to come back that she will show the growth of her dancing and learning. She was given chance after chance (many that I don’t think was deserved), but she was cut from the team this week. When she makes her comeback, I hope she returns with full confidence in herself and knows that she will be able to bring something to the team!

Sci-fi/Fantasy: The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, “Chapter Twenty-Nine: The Eldritch Dark” – Seeing double.

Two Sabrinas (Kiernan Shipka) showed up in the premiere episode of the finale season of “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” Sabrina making this risky decision is sure to stir up a lot of issues in the final season. The scene where she talks to the other version of herself is a chilling and deliciously sinister moment that leaves Kiernan to show off some good acting skills playing opposite herself.
