Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Hightown, “Severely Weatherbeaten” – Secrets

Junior’s (Shane Harper) intentions don’t seem so honest towards Jackie (Monica Raymund). At the end of the episode he invites her onto a boat, but the look on his face as he checks the area makes it seem as if he’s in on something that she isn’t. He’s definitely doing some undercover things that aren’t in line with the investigation Jackie is working on. Things are about to really start getting interesting as we see the characters start to get more entwined.

Comedy/Reality TV: Space Force, “The Launch” – I went under the house and no one knew I was under there.

General Mark R. Naird’s (Steve Carell) quick conversation with his dad (played by the late Fred Willard) was probably the funniest moment from the series premiere. His father was outside looking for his mother who had wandered into the streets. It’s a lot of talking about a stressful topic, but his dad is just chill and happy. He definitely shouldn’t have been under the house without telling someone. That caretaker has a lot on his hands. We learned a lot about General Naird’s family in the premiere episode, so this was a fun moment.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Snowpiercer, “Prepare to Brace” – I see the balance.

Andre (Daveed Diggs) asks Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly) about the balance they have going on as he sits with a bloodied face after being beaten. He’s agreeing to help them, but he’s on his own journey as well. This scene really stuck with me because of Daveed Diggs’ performance. You can feel his anger and also his disgust as he speaks the words. The tension between Andre and Melanie is something to be noted, as it’s a huge driving force for the series.
