Arby (Christopher Denham) is at his room throwing his boxes of raisings to the floor and smashing them. He has taken one of the pages of “Utopia” that seems to be telling his story where Dr. Rabbit can be seen standing next to another man while saying, “We did it! We created a monster!” So, he takes on of his rocks and decides to leave the room. Jessica Hyde (Sasha Lane), Grant (Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton) and Alice (Farrah Mackenzie) join the others at the mansion and explain what happened at the little girl’s house. Jessica takes “Utopia” with her and locks herself in another room looking surprised of what she discovers as she reads the manuscript.

In the meantime, Dr Stearns (Rainn Wilson) is surprised to see how all the tents from the quarantine center are removed and later on he gives an interview talking about the vaccine while the gang watches him on TV. Jessica decides to come out of the room looking disgusted. The kids still look shocked by what happened at Alice’s house, so Jessica gives them some alcohol to calm them down and relieve their sadness. Becky (Ashleigh LaThrop) suggests they should read the manuscript again and try to make some sense of all of it. Alice begins to draw something on the couch while Becky and Wilson (Desmin Borges) scatter the manuscript pages on the floor. Wilson says that Artemis’s (Camryn Manheim) suggestion about burning “Home” to the ground must mean something else so he takes one of the pages where there are animals giving gifts to Jessica and she begins to remember that there were other kids where she lived. However, she was always on her own and was the special one. Wilson reviews “Utopia” and realizes that Jessica was tortured while she was there, but it seems like she has forgotten all of that or just convinced herself of something different. In one of the pages Jessica kills Dr. Rabbit and Wilson begins to question what happens after that while Ian (Dan Byrd) is interested in knowing how they can find “Home.” Wilson takes another page where Jessica is covered by a blanket with a number of different symbols printed on it and led by a fairy through the woods who say that the only way to find home is with the Monster. By the time the pair has finished putting some pieces together, they realize that rest have already fallen asleep.

Back to the center, Dr Stearns sees as Dale (Tim Hopper) and Charlotte’s twin Lily (Taylor Blim) are finally leaving the place in the middle of a crowd of reporters who demand to know everything about the girl’s “miraculous recovery.” Lily takes the lead and thanks them all for their support and asks them to be vocal about the FDA freeing the vaccine. Dale takes her by the arm and into the car and tells her that she was supposed to be the face of the cure not the voice to draw all of that attention on them, something that seems to bother the girl. As they leave, they are followed by a lot of reporters including Dr. Stearns.

At the mansion the gang is still trying to figure out “Utopia” when Becky takes Ian to another room and shows him the Diels virus mark that she has behind her ear. He is surprised at first, but offers her his support and then they start to kiss and end up having sex.

Lily greets the reporters from her window and sees Dr. Stearns arrive and greets him. She then runs downstairs saying that the doctor is there to see them. Even though Dale begs her not to open the door, she doesn’t listen to him and welcomes the doctor in.

While Jessica is still asleep Wilson makes sure to take some notes about what he finds in the manuscript then goes in a haste to look for Ian and Becky and opens the bedroom door finding them naked on the bed. He apologizes and tells them to join him in the living room since he has found a lead. He discovers that Sam’s (Jessica Rothe) drawing refers to the Peruvian flag, which might also be related to the Peruvian flu that Dr Stearns discovered. He assumes that he is, in fact, Dr. Rabbit but Becky finds a different meaning to it and expresses that believes that Dr. Stearns might be actually controlled by Dr. Rabbit since he could be the one capable of exposing him. Back at Dale’s house Dr. Stearns confesses that he would like to stay a little bit longer just to keep track of Lily’s health, but Dale doesn’t agree with it saying that everybody seems to be breathing over their necks and they just want to be back to normal. Right that moment he gets a call and leaves to another room while Dr. Stearns asks Lily how long they have been staying at the house. It seems suspicious to him that it appears like they just moved in even when the girl says that it’s been between nine and fifteen months since they arrived. He asks permission to use her bathroom and the girl could barely tell him where it is. When the doctor is about to wash his hands he is surprised to see that there is no soap and the towel still has the price tag on it. He goes to the kitchen and while Lily is distracted watching the news he opens the drawers, cabinets and fridge only to find out that they are empty. Dale sees him and asks him what he is looking for and the man asks for a glass of water. He asks Dale about his work, but the man only says that it seems to be pointless then Lily slaps the counter much to the two men surprise. The girl tells him that he needs to do something to get the FDA to free the vaccine. In that moment, the doctor receives a call saying that Dr. Christie (John Cusack) wants to see him in Chicago the next day and he agrees.

Thomas (Cory Michael Smith) and Dr. Christie are looking for Cara’s (Fiona Dourif) replacement. They are startled by the sound of their door being crashed. Thomas opens the door and finds Arby at the other side and invites him to come in. Arby tells them that he found Jessica and the manuscript but doesn’t have them. Thomas punches him repeatedly in the face, butn Dr. Christie stops him and asks him to go to his room. The man realizes that Arby is upset because of what he saw in the comic and is questioned about his origins. He is also upset because he didn’t have the love Jessica had, but Dr. Christie explains that is just because that was not his purpose and mission and that in the end having love has not doing Jessica any good. Arby wants to know what his real name is and the man says that he honestly doesn’t remember, but explains that he named him after his love for raisings – “RB” that stands for “raising boy.” Lastly, he says to Arby that he forgives him and he needs to go back and respect his purpose because, otherwise, he won’t belong and the other man leaves.

The next day Dale has already bought all the supplies for the house and makes sure that everything is in place. He then goes to see Lily while she sleeps and gets ready to go out. But before he does, he leaves a green stamp on one of the walls that says “nature helps kids nurture.” He goes outside without being noticed by the reporters, walks across a green field and when he is about to cross the street he is hit by a yellow trailer. Right that moment Dr. Stearns wakes up from a nightmare he was having and his wife Colleen (Jeanine Serralles) tries to calm him down. He remembers he has an appointment with Dr. Christie, but then sees a message saying it was cancelled. They watch the news and they announce that Dale has committed suicide that same morning. In the meantime, Thomas meets with his team and prepares a strong background about Dale and the reason why he killed himself. He comes up with the idea that he simply couldn’t stand the thought of another doctor saving his daughter’s life. He also asks them to create three fake profiles of old friends that could support the story. Then, he goes to meet with their social media team and suggests a number of hashtags and ways to become a trend within the next five minutes. Dr. Stearns is looking at the media reports and finds a man named Andrew Katz has posted his condolences about Dale on his blog, so he decides to call him and ask him about it. The person in charge of answering is actually one of Thomas’s team members (Michael Emmett Carey) who makes sure to convince Dr. Stearns that Dale was dealing with some anxiety and depression issues and that having someone else saving his daughter must have taken him to the edge.

Jessica leads the group to another house and reminds them they need to keep moving as Artemis suggested. Alice is still very upset about her mother’s death and decides to escape, but Jessica takes her by her braid and points a gun at her to stop her while the others yell at her to let the girl free. Jessica pays no attention and instead she takes the girl to a room upstairs and handcuffs her to the bed.

Dr. Stearns watches a video of a Dale’s co-worker named Emily Nowak (Sarah Lo) and realizes that she has given the same speech about Dale that Andrew Katz gave to him as though it was scripted. He tells Colleen about his thoughts, but the woman says that he is overreacting and tells him that he is acting just like he did years ago when he started to have paranoid ideas and a maniac behavior and ended up in an asylum. She takes the laptop off of him and asks him to get some rest instead.

Grant tries to make Alice feel better and shows him the manuscript. The girl asks him to give her a scissors and requests his help to cut her braid. She tells him that Jessica will never be able to take her by her hair again. Colleen takes her husband to bed and when she leaves the room he opens his laptop and continues with his research.

Wilson takes another look at the asylum picture and sees that Dr. Stearns in it, so he is now convinced that he is Dr. Rabbit. While he, Jessica and Ian try to give some meaning to what they have found, Becky begins to have a seizure again. She hits the ground. They all run to her, but she cannot breathe so Jessica takes a funnel, cuts her throat and inserts part of the funnel in it. Unfortunately, Becky does not respond. Jessica says that there’s nothing else she could do and continues with her research. They all begin to cry and then Becky wakes up surprising everyone. Jessica asks them to get ready to leave again and then pats Becky on the back and tells her “good job.” She gives her a scarf to cover her wound.

Dr Stearns watches Lily’s interview about Dale and realizes of the green stamp behind her. Then, he researches about the place indicated in the stamp and realizes that it’s a farm coincidentally located in the states where kids have been hit by the flu and is now convinced that the kids have been killed on purpose. He runs downstairs to share his thoughts with his wife and she tries to persuade him to say from saying anything. He refuses so she takes one of his awards and hits him in the head.
