The show opens with Gabi (Emily Osment), Sofia (Aimee Carrero) and Josh (Jonathan Sadowski) preparing for their double date with Nick (Chris Smith). The girls want it to go well because Sofia thinks this can go somewhere. Nick arrives and starts kissing Sofia. Josh goes to open the wine, but the cork breaks gets stuck. He goes to get a knife to get it out, but Nick gives him a tip to get it out with the corkscrew. He demonstrates, but instead of being grateful Josh is jealous, causing him to act snippy. They prepare to leave for the restaurant when Josh says the back seat of his Ferrari is a bit small. Nick and Sofia say they don’t mind.

Elliot (Rex Lee), Yolanda (Kym Whitley) and Alan (Bryan Safi) are in a bar having drinks. Yolanda wants to know why no one has hit on her yet. Elliot thinks it’s because it is early and people aren’t drunk enough yet. Alan says men are scared off because they think they are straight. A good looking man (Brian White) approaches Yolanda, thinking she is his online date. The guys encourage her to go with it and she gives him her famous “Heeeyyyy!”

The foursome go to a bar.  Nick knows the owner, so he gets them a booth and drinks from the bar. Josh makes it clear to Gabi that he doesn’t like Nick, but Gabi tells him to stop competing and be the bigger man. Nick and Sofia return to the table and Nick ordered wine for the ladies, bourbon for himself and an Appletini for Josh. Josh starts to make a snarky comment when Gabi reminds him to be the bigger man.

The date is awkward because the guys can’t stop sniping at each other. The girls wonder what is going on, which leads to them fighting as well as insulting each others’ boyfriends. They go back to the table, where the fighting continues. Nick insults Josh and Gabi’s relationship, causing more tension. Josh mentions he and Gabi had sex on their first date, causing Gabi to hit him. Nick asks Sofia to move in with him, which Gabi thinks is another one up move. Sofia accepts his offer.

At Josh’s, Gabi wonders if Sofia will really move in with Nick. Josh plans to call their bluff by helping them move in this weekend. He then admits to enjoying a good Appletini.

Alan and Elliott want to know about Yolanda’s date. She made a second one, but realizes she needs to be the actual girl her online date thinks she is from her profile. Elliot says he heard of Doctors Without Borders, not Doctors Without Standards. The guys offer to help by coaching her on what to say. Elliot says that if he wanted to help an old lady get into bed, he would have gone into nursing.

Gabi and Josh go to the apartment to help Sofia move and walk in on her and Nick about to have moving day sex. Nick tells them they will have it someday, too. Josh gets mad but grabs a box to help when Sofia says they need to talk. She thanks them for being supportive and she took the waffle iron. She also offers to pay rent next month. Sofia and Nick leave. Gabi and Josh can’t believe it happened so fast when it took so long for them to get together. They decide to move in together as well.

Yolanda has her date with Eric, only to find out she is supposed to be ten years sober. She has no idea of any alcoholic drinks, so the guys (via the phone/earpiece) tell her to order iced tea. They coach her on philosophy and give her a Plato quote to repeat when Alan’s mom calls. She doesn’t know the rest of the quote, so she recites “Someone’s in the Kitchen With Dinah.” The drinks come and she makes him cover his eyes to steal some of his martini.

Sofia and Gabi meet for drinks. Gabi says she is moving in with Josh, thinking Sofia will be happy. However, Sofia thinks it is another one-upmanship and that Gabi won’t let her have one thing without making it about her and Josh. Sofia starts throwing darts in anger, hitting Gabi in the head with one. She faints and the waiter asks for a doctor. It just so happens this all is happening in the same place Yolanda and her date are having dinner. He freaks out, confessing that he lied and bolts.

At the apartment, Sofia is helping Gabi feel better with ice cream. The girls admit they only agreed to move in together to one up each other. They agree to stay in the apartment and not move in with their boyfriends.

The show ends with Sofia moving back in with one of the moving men being none other than Eric. Yolanda sees him and says he is experienced in packing big brown boxes…after he admits he lied to impress “her.”
