Q) How would you describe your sound?

A) My sound is like a wave of arithmetic rhythm of passion that tells many stories in which all stories are about personal experiences and personal growth; each one is of a different encouragement, a different journey, a different ending, a different party and a different vibe!

Q) Who are some of your musical influences?

A) My musical influences are Chris Brown and Lil Wayne! I remember listening to “The Carter” by Lil Wayne and thinking, “Wow, he’s extremely great with how he uses his words and the extent of his vocabulary!” My interest spiked and, before you knew it, I went from inserting my own words into certain lines of his songs to writing, creating and producing my very own album.

Q) How has life in Houston influenced you as an artist?

A) Growing up in Houston, which is considered the south (the city of Chopped and Screwed), pushed me wanting to create my own sound and not the typical southern style music. It also shaped me to work harder cause my city breads strong independent talented artist.

Q) Talk about the story behind your new song “Habits and Flaws.”

A) “Habits and Flaws” not only came from seeing society paint a picture that you must live up to a certain standard of expectation, but embracing my very own habits and flaws and loving who I am as a Man and as an Artist!

Q) What do you think it is about the song that fans connect to?

A) When making this song I wanted my fans to be able to be free, be themselves and dominate their entire being in confidence. The energy is a vibe that anyone who wants to feel powerful about themselves can connect with.

Q) How does the video for the track play into the message behind it?

A) The video will fall right into what the lyrics speak. The message I’m trying to convey in the video is to get people to love themselves, HABITS and FLAWS. All colors coming together as a human race, accepting who you are as person and thrive in it is the real message.

Q) How much of hand do you have in the production of your music?

A) I have a hundred percent hands on the production of my music from writing lyrics, video treatments, everything.

Q) How do you shake off a long day in the studio?

A) Plenty ways I shake off a long day in the studio. [laughs] Me getting a massage followed by a few drinks, with sex right after is key. A lot of times I go to the studio to shake off my long days and that’s facts.

Q) Will there be a full album or EP coming in the near future?

A) Yes, there will be an album and EP coming soon. In a few months I will drop another EP. My album will come after. I’m working on it now and all I can tell you is it’s straight fire and straight hits.

Q) Where are some of your favorite places to perform and what makes those locations so significant to you?

A) I love to perform in London. London is one of those unique places that showed me so much love since my first visit. It just puts me in my creative zone when I come there to perform.

Q) Who would you most like to collaborate with on a song in the future?

A) Lil Wayne, Beyonce and Chris Brown for sure.

Q) What album/band are you currently listening to and why do you dig them?

A) Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of new music from various artist like Lil Baby, A Boogie, Future, Pop Smoke, Kehlani, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne. They music put me in whatever mood I want to get in. [laughs] Especially if I’m with a bad lil vibe or with the homies. I also listen to myself a lot as well.

Q) You are a part of social media. Why is that such an important way for you to connect with your fans?

A) I feel like being a part of social media is important to connect with the fans because those are the people who support my music and it’s a quicker way for me to reach out and show them I appreciate them.

Q) What would you like to say to everyone who is a fan and supporter of you and your work?

A) It’s so much I can say, but the most important part is thank you for your continued support and more great music and videos are on the way. I’m human and I’ll make mistakes. So, don’t be alarmed if you see me in the media for stealing ice cream because that shit is good. [laughs] Just playing, but for real though. [laughs]
