Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Our Kind of People, “Hot Links & Red Drinks” – A show for the masses.

Drama: Our Kind of People, “Hot Links & Red Drinks” – A show for the masses.

While Leah’s (Nadine Ellis) mom is having an episode at the event, Leah reveals to the party that Angela Vaughn (Yaya DaCosta) is her half-sister and they have the same father. The three stand before the party and make a formal announcement that is definitely for show as we’ve seen how things have been going between the three. However, what was most interesting was seeing Lauren’s (Rhyon Nicole Brown) response to the news. She has been repeatedly hit with a lot of new knowledge that she didn’t know about her family and her anger at everything is definitely warranted. She’s still coming to terms with who she is as a person and having her mother keep so much from her has to be a heavy thing to bear.

Comedy/Reality TV: Young Sheldon, “One Bad Night and Chaos of Selfish Desires” – A wake up call.

Mary (Zoe Perry) and George (Lance Barber) get into a fight causing George to storm out of the house. While out he has a heart episode and it shocks him into where he was going to take the next steps in his life into reality. Even though he feels guilty about what he almost did with his wife’s best friend, he seems to think this moment was a sign that maybe he shouldn’t be heading down this path.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: La Brea – “Day Two” – Secrets.

Veronica (Lily Santiago) and Lilly Castillo (Chloe De Los Santos) are on their own after their father has died. The pair are interesting and after some interactions with others, we learn that the sisters are holding some kind of secret. They have already been putting on a reuse that Lilly hasn’t spoken in a year and when Lilly is spotted with a phone after Veronica buries her father, Veronica takes an aggressive approach when Lilly doesn’t respond correctly. The dynamic between the sisters is something that should definitely be focused on more and I am intrigued to learn more about the different life that they led.
