Each week I’ll be picking the best drama, comedy or reality TV, and sci-fi/fantasy moments from the shows of the prior week. They may sometimes be equipped with some of your favorite ships or tear-jerking moments. So, keep reading if you are still not over what happened on your favorite TV show this week!

Drama: Chicago Fire, “A Real Shot In The Arm” – Sylvie’s coming home.

Sylvie’s (Kara Killmer) going back to 51! Even though her leave only spanned two episodes, I am glad she’s returning. It was so hard to watch her be miserable in her hometown. I knew when she made the decision to leave the Chicago fire department she was making a mistake. I like how things ended between her and Kyle (Teddy Sears) as it was very in line with how their relationship has gone so far. Seeing Stella (Miranda Rae Mayo) and Foster (Annie Ilonzeh) so happy to get Sylvie back to Chicago was the sweetest moment.

Comedy: The Neighborhood, “Welcome to the bully”Dungeons and Dragons bringing a family together.

After Marty (Marcel Spears) feels like he gets bullied by his dad, Calvin (Cedric the Entertainer), he lets his father know exactly how he feels. Seeing Calvin actually starting to enjoy spending time and playing one of his son’s games was a great moment this week. Even though he went into the game thinking he was going to hate it, Calvin actually started getting competitive and turned out to like it way more than he bargained for. I hope they continue to show him become more interested in things his son finds joy in – no matter how weird he thinks it is.

Sci-fi/Fantasy: Emergence, “Camera Wheelbarrow Tiger Pillow” What does she know?

Piper’s (Alexa Swinton) memories continue to come back in flashes. After cutting out what looked to be some sort of tracking device in the series premiere, she has been hiding all the small details that have been returning to her from Jo (Allison Tolman). Everybody loves a good mystery and watching Piper stare off and sometimes seem to be traumatized, while also seeming to know more than she’s letting on, has already become very intriguing. Her moments, like the one in the bedroom where she sees a bloody scalpel, have been great to watch. I can’t wait to see how much will be revealed about her by the end of this season.
